Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only small thing was that as vegetarians the breakfast was not labeled and the staff didn’t know exactly why was in it.
Amazing location and the loveliest staff, very helpful and welcoming!

United KingdomThe 2nd bed wasn’t comfortable and was very cold at night. There was loud banging from the wind with something on our door all night every night. The receptionist advised us to go to Perissa and a nice walk south of where we was but there was no pavement and very dangerous
The view from the hotel and balcony was amazing and the suites were pretty. The reception was very friendly

United States of AmericaThe guy at the reception. He is not a welcoming presence at all, a bit condescending. Like I’m not worth his time.
I like the location, the view, the bed, the cleanliness. I like that it’s close to El Viento for my friend’s wedding. Pretty much almost everything.

United States of AmericaNot a dislike, but I definitely would recommend having a car to make sure you have the access and flexibility to explore - it is a little bit far to get around the island by bike or ATV and makes night time activities more challenging.
Amazing views! Super friendly and helpful staff with lots of recommendation. Wonderful breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect location for being close to a lot but felt quiet and calm. Walkable to the village of Megalochori and the heart of Santorini.

CyprusWe booked a family room (room 114). It was comfortable but had 2 problems: 1. The room smelled moldy. There was a dehumidifier which however made a lot of noise. 2. The bathroom was super tiny. Around 3sm. Too small even for single occupancy. It is as small as bathrooms on cruise ships. Compared to the size of the room it could had been bigger.
Location. Very peaceful compared to the craziness of Oia with equally beautiful sunset. Within walking distance there are restaurants, shops, ice cream, bakeries etc. Staff was very helpful.

United KingdomLocation felt a bit out of the way for what we were wanting. Although a short 10-15 min drive to thira, transfers were about 25€ each way and to get into the closest town you have to walk along the busy main road which wasn’t ideal in the busy season and in the heat, we ended up renting a motorbike and which I would recommend doing (or a car) if you stay here.
Room opened out onto pool area and great view with beautiful sunset! Breakfast was what you needed and room was a good size.

South AfricaThe bathroom in room 103 was very narrow however the shower was a good size. Be careful that even though the port is only a 5 minute drive and the airport about a 15/20 min drive depending on traffic the cost for a taxi is the same price. Not the fault of the accommodation but a heads up. I wish the accommodation had told us about the village that sits beautifully behind the bakery in an alley way filled with restaurants in the most traditional Greek style. I only found it on my last day when I went for a run and came across it by accident.
The views and pool was incredible. We felt like we stayed in a 5 star luxury accommodation for good value. The breakfasts were organised and a 3 course meal. The coffee was the best I have tasted in a really long time. Greg and Olivia were professional and very helpful when we asked questions. The location to an amazing bakery and bus stop to Thira was only a few minutes walk. The Port from which travelled to our next island was only a 5 minute drive.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was over the top in quality, quantity, and service... not to mention the beautiful view and surroundings! It definitely exceeeded our expectations. The host was friendly, helpful, and efficient. He gladly shared his local knowledge to help us make the most of our stay. The location of this property has a gorgeous view of the caldera. It was quiet and welcoming.

United States of AmericaRoom was very small, right next to the pool so you could hear the water at night if you are a light sleeper
The view was spectacular! and the breakfast had so many options, very delicious and accommodated an allergy. Maria at the front was so kind and helped us with everything. Communicating with front desk via WhatsApp was quick and efficient.

FranceIt's not so related to the hotel but more to the location: The access by foot on the main road is not safe but this is almost all over the island... We were there for short time but better rent a car or take the busses but not easy accessible.
The hotel is well located on the island but mostly, the staff of the hotel are great specially Denisa and Leyla. The breakfast area is just amazing and we had a good holiday.. the view just incredible.

Megalochori is a beautiful town, literally and figuratively far away from the tourist theme park that Oia is. Well worth a visit!

UkraineA bit old and worn room facilities, front door bangs a bit because of wind and lock is a bit hard to turn. You need to decide what you want for the breakfast beforehand and it might be a bit hard to estimate. The price is too much considering mentioned downsides, but probably this is normal for Santorini in general.
Splendid view on caldera. Nice and quite place. It’s near the isolated beach below the cliff.
