Everything is dream like.

Most creatively designed and lovingly cared for. If you are looking for pure peace and heavenly beaches within walking distance, this is the ultimate. Our room was spacious, well ventilated, had a comfortable bed, and a wonderful terrace for viewing the sunsets over Naxos. The terrace doors both had insect screens for sleeping with them open to the sound of ocean waves.

Stenosa is a real little gem , perfectly situated near the town and beach . The owners were fabulous, helpful and kind . This hotel was beautifully decorated in a simple Greek style.

Dionusia and Dimitris have created a unique complex of traditional buildings that formulate Stenosa. The cycladic architecture and every single detail in the space have being done with thought and passion and have created a unique ans comfortable space. Both hosts are super friendly and helpful and make you feel like home. I will be going back!

Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations

Beautiful scenery, location and facilities, a true breathtaking island experience! The rooms have a gorgeous set up, with a communal space that makes the arrangements resemble a small cycladic village! Dimitris and his wife went above and beyond to help us out picked us up from the port gave us all the useful information and helped me personally by being extremely flexible and compassionate after an accident I had during travelling. Couldn't recommend Stenosa enough! A true gem, both place and people!

Everything! What a beautiful place, a beautiful, comfortable room with an amazing unique bathroom...I had a shower in a wine barrel! Dionissia an Dimitris were the perfect hosts and made me feel very much at home. I have stayed on Donousa before, but this is the mist wonderful place yet!

We both loved our stay at Stenosa and could not think of anything to write here

We could not of been happier with room, location and the owners who were always on hand should we need anything. The room was very clean and cleaned every day, it was spacious and well laid out with plenty of space for sitting outside along with your own private terrace. Our room had its on private outside kitchen which we loved but there was also a communal outdoor kitchen along with extra shared seating area. It was a 5 minute walk to the main town for access to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Stenosa (how sailors used to call Donousa in the 19th century) was a magical stay that encapsulates everything that makes Donousa so enchanting. Dionysia and Dimitris have poured their soul, love of Donousa and creativity in making Stenosa one of the most wonderfully rustic and unpretentiously comfortable places that we have ever stayed at. We stayed at the small house called Ninemia (meaning calm) that was beautifully appointed and full of traditional Cycladic rustic charm. It also had one of the best views to be had from 2 of our very own terraces - one just outside the entrance and another one on the rooftop. It felt very private thanks to the village-like layout of Stenosa. The outdoor kitchen was also very handy and well equipped for preparing meals. The Nespresso machine with free coffee capsules was a great touch! Dionysia was a real joy to be around and a fabulous host that made us feel right at home. She was always ready to share her tips of Donousa and make our stay as pleasant as it could get! We’ll be back for sure - Stenosa you have bewitched us!
