Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaIt cannot be called a 4-star hotel. There is no lobby, the reception is in a narrow area, literally under the stairwell. There is only one bottle in the mini bar and that is plain water, nothing more. Breakfast is not in the same building, but in a bar two blocks away.
The location is exceptional, in the center, close to Acropolis! The room is spacious, clean, with a mini-kitchen. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

United KingdomThe room could do with some repairs: there were chips on the wall, poorly fitted wardrobe doors, flimsy toilet seat.
Spacious room with an additional sink in the "kitchenette" area with a mini fridge and kettle/coffee machine. Unbeatable central location, 30 seconds from Monastiraki metro station and 1 minute away from the square itself, which is very lively. Breakfast was off site at "The brunchers", good food but set menu with four choices, more flexibility would have been appreciated.

IsraelThe problem is at breakfast you have to walk a few blocks to a place that opens at 8 and gives a very limited meal with 5 options and all with an egg, a few slices of cheese and 1 drink. A really poor and disappointing meal. It is recommended not to commit to breakfast .Also there were some maintenance issues in the room most of which were resolved but not all.
The location of the hotel is excellent, and also the staff is excellent and helps with everything you need. The hotel is located a minute from Monstraki square and in the center of the sights and close to all the important attractions in the city.

NetherlandsBeing in the middle of a busy area, it was very noisy day and night. Room faced narrow dark street, it was not nice to keep the windows open. Very loud staircase as well. The breakfast is served 5min walking from the hotel, the choice is by mixed platter (choice of sweet, egg based or vegan) with only 1 drink (coffee OR juice).
Very helpful and kind staff. Excellent location to visit everything on foot. Large room.

FinlandVery noisy at night, and the green light from the escape sign in the room makes me really hard to sleep well. If the hotel provides some ear plugs, might be better.
Location is convenient, really near the metro. Staffs are friendly, and the breakfast is tasty.

MaltaIt could get a bit noisy but given the close proximately to one of the main squares, it was a bit expected and the noise levels were not that bad, considering the location. The breakfast is not served at the hotel but is served at 'The Brunchers' which is a restaurant just two minutes away. Breakfast options could be improved as currently there are only 4 options to choose from. This is a suggestion, rather than a complaint because both the restaurant and the food were good. The available options could get a bit repetitive.
Excellent location - just 1 minute walk from Monastiraki Square and 15 minutes to the Acropolis. There is also a metro station with a connection to the airport and other connections if you wish to travel outside the main town. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions and accommodating our requests. The room is spacious, clean and serviced everyday.

QatarThe view from the window could have been better - it was basically facing another building. The lack of sunlight coming in felt a little claustrophobic at times so if that bothers you make sure to check if the room faces a better side.
Great location, very friendly staff, it has multiple brunch restaurants underneath and nearby so if you're a fan of brunch you will love this place. The room I got was very spacious for one person, but I think it was a special offer which could fit 3 people.

Hong KongThe coffees weren’t replaced so I was rationing my illy cups by the end of my six-night stay. The mini fridge was quite loud and why do they need such a bright exit sign on? Basically acted as a night light.
Great location, awesome shower and breakfast, good amenities, not as noisy as I thought it might be, nice staff, for a single room quite good size.

United States of AmericaThe two nights it was hot and the air conditioning in the whole property was switched to heat. There was no way to open the windows because the hotel is in the middle of the center and it is very noisy with the windows open (you don’t hear nothing when you close them). But the staff was able to get me a fan that helped a lot. The day I left the a/c was finally on cool.
Great location, beautiful rooms and great helpful staff.

RomaniaPillows were really hard, and no other option. The room was ok, but with small dents here and there. The towels were kind of old and with some tears some of them. They really need to get new ones.
The location is great, really in the city center around everything good to eat or drink. Got coffee place nearby. The breakfast was ok, but it’s served at a nearby place. There are only four options. Nothing too special, really basic.
