I was told the room would be ready at a certain time, and it wasn't (which was fine) just zero communication about it or how the cleaning process was going. I asked the reception guy if we should go eat lunch and come back or if it'd be ready soon and he got a little snappy and kept saying "you need to be patient" even though I was very nice. Location was a little far from the main part of oia. Hot tub was always luke warm.

First and foremost the location of the property and the service of the hotel staffs are beyond exceptional. I have been to a lot of hotels in Europe particularly resort hotels and I can say they are one of the best. Katerina, Nicolas and sorry to forget the other one name but they were the best, they even gave us a little snack for our 4am departure which I think is more than expected from them. They have all you need also for the tours and their location is near the busy hub of Oia. I went here with my Aunt who has mobility problem and for sure this is the best for all those traveling with family that has the situation like me. I totally adore their service. Keep it up!

Everything was perfect

It was great experience in Santorini. The staff was really hospitality and kind all days, the breakfast was tasty and delivered to the room, the location is perfect(not in the crowded center, but close to it). And the price was much more reasonable than in others hotels.

We just returned from Santorini, we stayed for 5 days (from April 7 to 12, 2024) in this wonderful hotel. (Where you won't have to go up and down stairs carrying your suitcases, which is what is expected in Santorini). The hotel is a gem in Oia, new, super clean, super well located, (the public transport bus passes through the main door of the hotel) all the staff is super attentive, from the owners of the hotel, Niko, Mr. of the reception (I don't remember her name), Katherine, Cristo, José, the cleaning ladies and the cook (Iliana), all of them will make your stay a dream. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, they welcomed us with a welcome cocktail and gave us a summer bag from the hotel. Additionally, a bottle of wine was waiting for us in our room. At the end of our stay, we were given a small bottle of oil. Everything is really dreamy! Our breakfasts made by Iliana were wonderful, she makes some homemade fries that are delicious. Every day you will have clean towels and bathrobes and your room spotless and sparkling. For all those who know that they cannot return from Santorini without a cover photo for Instagram, the hotel is the perfect place for your photos, you will not have to wait in line to get a place to take your photos, you just have to ask Niko. (he is super friendly) or José to help you and you will have the photos of your dreams. From the hotel you have the opportunity to appreciate the famous Santorini sunset without having to pay excessive amounts of money for a good view, you can take advantage of this wonder from your own jacuzzi. For all Spanish speakers who want to visit the hotel and if you need help, don't worry, there is José who will help you with everything you need. Our stay at the hotel has exceeded our expectations, there is nothing negative I can say about the hotel service. All of them will do everything possible to make you enjoy your vacation in Santorini. Definitely 100% recommended!!

The staff! The staff! The Staff! Amazing people from time we walked in, till the time we left! They went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. There was a parking very close by, and the hotel is on the main road. You may not be on the caldera, but the caldera view was just a 4 minute walk from the hotel. The hot tub was great and the breakfast being served on your private space was a great touch. One of the best places we’ve stayed at. Special shout out to Nikos and Christos, who were very kind and helpful.

Service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so sincere and helpful, especially Christopher, the bartender who seemed to work all day and night, as well as the owner, Nicolas. Both were amazing and so kind. Stathis went out of his way to arrange a cake for our daughter’s birthday! Best tiramisu cake! Everyone was so kind and helpful. They helped me book santorini flying dress and arrange a fanstastic 5hr tour of the island. Oia is only few mins walk and it was great to not have tourists wandering right outside our door. Overall, highly recommend this gem! Will return in the future.

Our room was to have a view but the view was dried grass which i didn't like It is not your typical hotel, its more of a small room with privacy . And thats how the hotels are in Santorini anyway

Sole d'oro was the perfect luxury stay! From the moment we arrived the staff was super welcoming and helpful. The location of the suites is great as you can easily walk to Oia. The breakfast was just perfect, abundant, lots of variety and very tasty. The room and bathroom were big, the amazing terrace on the roof and jacuzzi were perfect. The staff even prepped a little surprise for our arrival as they knew it was my birthday holiday and we deeply appreciated that! We were also very happy that staff was friendly and welcoming towards our 1 year old baby, knowing that lots of luxury accommodations don't allow kids, we are grateful to the whole staff for being so nice!

My wife and I really loved staying at sole d’oro. They took Greek hospitality to another level. The staff were extremely helpful, caring, and accomodating. The rooms were beautiful and conveniently located. And Giannis made the best cocktails I’ve ever had! I’d recommend sole d’oro to anyone staying in Santorini.
