Everything. Beautiful place, with exceptional view, very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a nice place for a good rest after a very long and tiring day of hike. This place was everything I needed. I arrived on foot late in the afternoon and got disoriented. When I made a call to the hotel telling them that I was a bit lost, they told me to stay where I was and came by car to give me a lift to the hotel. I got expert recommendations with a map for next day’s hiking. They told me about everything I needed to know including taxis and good restaurants not only in Katapola but in other places where I was heading to. The breakfast alone makes you want to stay longer so that you can try and enjoy everything that they do not only display but explain in detail.

Our stay in Amorgos was nothing short of amazing. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette and a lovely balcony offering stunning views of the port of Katapola. The hotel's central location was ideal for exploring the island, with just a 5-minute drive to the port, another 5 minutes to Chora, and only 20-30 minutes to reach most other parts of the island. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring not only classic staples like eggs, coffee, and fresh orange juice but also local delicacies such as spinach pie, zucchini pie, and a delicious orange cake. It was a wonderful way to start each day. However, the true standout of our stay was our host, Andreas, and his exceptional team. From the moment we arrived, Andreas went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He took the time to sit down with us, map in hand, and personally mark the best spots for swimming, snorkeling, and dining. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, as he tries them all himself each year to ensure they remain top-notch. We even ran into him a few times while exploring the port and dining, where his warmth and hospitality were evident. When our ferry was unexpectedly canceled, Andreas stepped in to assist us in navigating alternative routes and even offered to organize transportation to another port. His support made what could have been a stressful situation much more manageable. While Amorgos captivated us with its breathtaking views, delicious food, and rich culture, it was Andreas who truly made our experience unforgettable. We absolutely fell in love with the island, and we can’t recommend this hotel enough!"

The hosts are the most wonderful people I have met on any Greek island, Antreas and Eliza greeted me on arrival and could not have been more helpful and polite and the same every morning at breakfast. They would brighten up anyone’s day with their kind words and wonderful hospitality, Antreas also gave me a map and highlighted all the places I should visit on the island, I would recommend Skopelitis village to anyone.

They propose a free transfer for the port to you bedroom. The host is amazing! the breakfast is perfect with the view on the sea fresh fruit fresh squeezed orange juice! Homemade pie homemade dessert …. Just wonderful

Superb location, right outside Katapola. The owner gave us plenty of recommendations about things to do on the island and places to eat. The room was lovely: a balcony sea-view and the sunset in the evening. The breakfast is great, with plenty of options, including traditional Greek food. We had a wonderful stay!

We were treated like royalty. We had issues with the ferry and Andreas looked after everything for us even meeting us on arrival at 2:30 in the morning to show us our room (spectacular). Breakfast overlooking the Port was delicious and copious. Rooms beautifully appointed, well equipped and very comfortable. Big patio with Port view. Wow!

Great view over the bay. Andreas was a great host and very helpful with information about beaches, tavernas and scenic roads and walks. Breakfast is great with different, home made cakes every day. Even the yoghurt is home made and very excellent. The rooms are modern and ours had coffee machine with capsules, water boiler and a little kitchen. We had a perfect stay. Also spacious parking area is provided.

The window in the main door had no blind, it was looking eastwards and there was light in the room very early in the morning.

This is probably one of the few listings in Booking that the photos represent it less spectacular than it is. It is better than what you see in the photos. It is located very close to Chora, a short ride at night. It has beautiful views of the Katapola bay and the nearby mountains. It has probably the most professional and hospitable host I 've ever encountered in my trips, if I am not mistaken his name is Andreas, where he sits you down with a map and explains and proposes everything about the island. The rooms are new and luxurious, large balconies and plenty of parking spaces on site. You can leave the air-conditioning on even if you take out your key card on the room. Breakfast sets it apart from most other places, most of the items are local produce, plenty of choices to eat.
