Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Indiaproperty was good but it was difficult to carry our luggage’s back and froth when moving in and moving out. Though they was help , our suitcases were dragged through the steps , we ended up with scratches at the bottom and wheels were torn. there should be some other option to facilitate this .

CanadaNot a lot of extras just one small water. Lots of stairs but that's what you get for the view so it's worth it in the end.
The view from the suite was amazing, could not have been better. The breakfast was incredible and they give you so many options. The pool is very nice and again the view from it is perfect. The room was very clean, comfortable and the shower was very good.

NetherlandsThe bathroom, though clean, had a mild funky smell that couldn't go away. The room phone was not working.
The view was so amazing. Absolutely loved having breakfast brought to us every morning and the flexibility to have it changed daily. I especially loved the fruits. The pool was always warm and the view there was spectacular. Staff were always friendly and helpful even with recommendations on where to visit.

Wondrous location overlooking the sea, perfectly set for the evening sunsets. Penelope and her team were warm and welcoming and provided a little orientation of the highlights of the island and local spots for the locals.

New ZealandThe steps… there are 86 steps to reach the top. So you really need to have done some work before you come.
The view, the room, the terrace, the breakfast… truly a special place.

KazakhstanLoved my stay at this hotel! The views were incredible and having a cozy spot outside your room was amazing to take in the views. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all amenities that you would need. The pool was heated for this time of year, which was lovely. The lady at reception was so friendly, welcoming and provided me with a lot of information. The staff were very friendly and helpful too (especially with helping carry my bags up and down all the stairs). Loved the breakfast selection that got brought to my room each morning, where I could sit and enjoy my food while taking in the views. The hotel is in a prime location with many restaurants etc. all within walking distance. This hotel exceeded all my expectations and I would highly recommend.

IndiaThe only downside about this property is too many stairs to reach the room. I won’t recommend this property if you have knee problems or above 40 years of age.

MalaysiaThe fact that we had to carry our bags almost half way down before help came. It was a long way down and those with weak legs should really consider staying somewhere else. To be fair they did help with the bags in the way back. When asked, I was told I did not ask for help with bags. The point is we didn't know that the hotel was so far down as we have never been there.
The view was nice. And the location in Fira was perfect as most of the shops are nearby.

United KingdomWe were in room 17, therefore every guest pretty much has to walk past our room to exit the facility. Other rooms had more benefits. Shower pressure was poor. Weirdly though the shower in the WC around the pool was extremely high pressure.. maybe its a gravity fed system? No kettle or tea bags in the rooms. We didn’t request one but thought this might have been standard. Had teas at breakfast though. There is a coffee machine and coffee pods in the room but no milk again didn’t request for milk. Breakfasts, although quite a lot and well presented, could cater more for the western customer. And also could have a bit more variety on the warm side - for example, no toast. But did get a bread roll. Location - although a great location in terms of views and no other hotels infront of you. You therefore have to walk up 100ish steps daily to get back up to the town. Believe me it becomes a bit too much effort after 10 days. Ive decided I hate steps. Would I go back again? I think I wouldnt hesitate to go back again but I do think there might be hotels in better locations - this being said the location of this hotel was very discrete and therefore felt extremely safe in evenings.
Just returned, had a fantastic 10 days. The hotel is lovely, well presented and every room has an outstanding view. We were in Room 17. The room was a sufficient size and the balcony and the terrace was a great size with table chairs and beach chairs. The property overall is kept very clean and the staff work very hard to make sure you are happy as guests. Food and drinks exceptional. Gorgeous bar at the top with an amazing view from the wooden bar top and views over the whole of the caldera. Loved the binoculars around the pool to spy on the cruise ships - did this everyday. Lovely pool, slightly heated - was refreshing. With a bit of a cave section which has a seat and jacuzzi style pumps (not too fancy though). Bar is at the top, pool is at the bottom (about 5 floors) but you can call up to the bar to request drinks to be brought down. Nice WC at the pool which is hidden and hosts a shower too. Was very happy staying here.. see the negatives though.

This place is stunning. If you are reading this, you should seriously book here. We splurged a bit, but honestly if you have the budget this is the place to do so. We stayed here 2 nights. Our room had a huge balcony with a view overlooking the caldera and Fira. We also had a hot tub. Beds were comfortable. They were helpful in organizing tours. We did the sunset catamaran tour. Breakfast was food, delivered to your room. If you are debating staying Fira or Oia, I think both are reasonable options. Oia will have slightly nicer views (classic blue topped roof, etc), but prices will be much more expensive, with smaller rooms, etc. We just took the bus for 1.60 euro to Oia, took our photos, etc. You can also do the hike from Fira to Oia which I highly recommend. Overall fantastic experience.

CanadaThe pool is completely falsely advertised on their website . There is no black cave pool, it is a regular pool with a dark surface , and the area and pool are tiny . And other patrons felt the same . They should change that, as I feel it is a very strong feature that draws people in . And the rooms were not that nice as far as decor goes if they have been renovated. Also , there is absolutely no privacy on the decks every guest walks by each other .

The room was perfect with a fabulous view, private hot tub, and helpful staff. The room was clean and in a perfect, private location! The food was great and we loved our stay! Great location! BONUS: The night we arrived was the anniversary of the last eruption of the caldera, so we were treated to a huge fireworks display! Amazing!
