Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyNothing really.
We looved this hotel. The location was good for going to the Kalamaki beach, just a couple of min walking distance. Also you can take the bus to go a bit farther beached like the Golden beach. I think these beached were the best ones in Crete. I don't like too much waves and the water here was very still. And the beach was all sand. I loved it. Also there are small markets around you can find anything you like. Oh and the breakfast was A M A Z I N G. What's even better was the view of the terrace you have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very well located, on a strip outside of Chania. The staff were very welcoming. We had a Seaview room which was fabulous, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again 👌

IrelandThere was only a minor inconvenience there was a strange smell in the bathroom coming from the drain. Had to cover the drain with foot mat. But it was not a big deal.
The room was spacious and comfortable. It had an outdoor area with a clothes dryer (very handy) and a table. It was on the 1st floor facing the back of the property which gave us great privacy. The view at the breakfast terrace is stunning and the food is tasty. We took a day to chill out at the swimming pool and it was very relaxing. The bus stop is a few meters away and it takes 25 minutes to the city centre. We got the bus cause it can be hard to find parking in the city. There are restaurants and mini markets at walking distance to the hotel and the location is also very close to the highway making it easy to drive places. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they recommended great places around. The room was cleaned every day. We are very happy we chose to stay here. Would definitely come back!!

United KingdomThe only negative would be the absence of controlled road crossing points on a busy main road. We had no problem, but have empathy for those not so mobile.
The hotel was conveniently located very close to bus stops ,shops and tavernas/restaurants.There was an excellent swimming pool 1.85m deep and a small side pool for children to play in. We were very impressed with the breakfast choices and great value for the cost. All the staff were polite and went overboard to help and advise on all aspects of our stay. An extremely clean and spacious room that met all our requirement for clothes storage and domestic needs.

IsraelIt's not the hotel's fault but it's really challenging to cross the road in Kalamaki - there are very little pedestrian crossings and the traffic sometimes very intense
I really enjoyed the hotel and especially was happy with the room. It was spacious, clean, and had plenty of storage space. Very often, modern hotels that have beautiful designer interiors are lack in furniture and it doesn't add to comfortable staying for more than one night. This room had two comfortable chairs, a desk and a table, a spacious closet, a small kitchenette, comfy nightstands. A clothesline on the balcony is very convenient. It is very important that there is a lot of space in the bathroom, with enough hooks and hangers both for closes and towels, plus a lot of space to fit cosmetics, etc. This is very important. In general, the room was as comfortable as possible. The only thing I personally lacked was a kettle or a coffee machine in the room. But I will not consider this a disadvantage. Breakfast is good enough, considering the price/quality ratio. Maybe the coffee is not the best, but it is a matter of taste after all. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room and the hotel are perfectly clean. Im happy with the choise

The staff were nice and friendly. The location was perfect. A public beach within 3 minutes. A bus stop directly next to it to go to Chania. They have parking places and parking along the whole street is also possible. Breakfast was nice. Same stuff everyday but I do not see a problem with that.

HungaryThe property is not exactly located on the beach but it is only a short walk away.
The hotel is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and clean, breakfast was on the roof and there were many delicious options to choose from. The balcony and the room are spacious, the beds are comfortable. There are numerous shops and restaurants nearby. I recommend this accommodation and hope to go back one day!

MaltaI thought that it was more central to Chania city center, then we realised that we have to catch a bus from centre to hotel and the service stops at 1am. After that you have to get a taxi which is not expensive though

FinlandThe situation is super. Busses to Hania go next to the hotel and it takes only few minutes to the beach by walk. Breakfast was great and pool big enought. We had night flight, so we were allowed to leave our luggages to the luggageroom and use hotel´s shower before we left the hotel. Nice service :)
