There is about a 1-minute walk from the bus/taxi station that you need to take because cars are not allowed in Mykonos Town. While it can be a little inconvenient if you have multiple suitcases, it is manageable and in my opinion for where Orpheas is located, totally worth it. We had a ground-level room on the backside of the hotel where there wasn't a lot of pedestrian traffic so for us it was nice and quiet during our stay and it was perfect. But given the windows don't have any type of soundproofing (the Cycladic style of architecture doesn't really account for that LOL), I can see a room on the front at ground level during peak tourist season with people walking everywhere being potentially noisy.

Orpheas is incredibly well located on the island and convenient to all the shopping and sights Mykonos Town has to offer! The staff is accommodating and friendly, and the rooms were very clean, styled well, and had the addition of a lot of thoughtful touches. Literally within a few minutes walking distance to the best restaurants, shopping, and even the Delos Tour meeting site.

Great location right near the old town of Mykonos and the windmills, plus great views of the ocean from our room. Great air conditioning and amenities with fridge, kettle and hair dryer. 2 min walk to the bus stop to go to the beaches

Shower was small, but welcome to Europe :) A couple small stains on the blanket but other than that everything was incredibly clean.

Orpheas rooms was an excellent choice for us as budget travelers in Mykonos! The room was right in the central town and right next to the bus stop. Our host was incredibly nice and accommodating to our late check in. They cleaned the room during the day and replenished the nespresso! The balcony was a very cute spot to drink it. Overall, we were really please and would definitely return.

You might experience some street noise at night. This is to be expected and earplugs are recommended.

It can be very noisy in the hallway, I think the doors could protect it a little more and also protect it from light.

The location was exceptional, just down the street and we were in the mills, close to restaurants and shops and supermarkets and around the corner the bus stop to the beaches. Chris welcomed us very well and gave us all the information we needed about the island. The terrace has a fantastic view of the sunset.

Compromise is room size is small but not a problem for us.

It’s difficult to find value for money In Mykonos. This property ticks the box for location at the right price. Room 11 at the top has a great view, is quiet and great views.

This place is perfect for a stay in Mykonos really affordable and amazing location! Little Venice and Mykonos town is a few minutes walk away, and Fabrika bus station is just up the road which can take you to the airport/old port/new port/paradise beach/gialos/Paraga beach etc! Really friendly & funny owner who made us feel really welcome 😊😊

We enjoyed our stay at orpheas rooms! It was very clean and felt safe. It was a short walk to the Fabrika bus station and walking distance to many bars and restaurants! The staff were super friendly and let us keep our bags in the front office after checkout. I would definitely recommend this for your stay in mykonos!!

There is nothing we didn’t like

Absolutely everything. This is our second time we have stayed here and there is a reason why we came back. The staff are amazing, as are the rooms, the views, ammenities, restaurant and location.

The room I got it was quite small (but my friend’s room it was better). The view from the ocean beautiful, but is from outside of the room, so the description it was wrong in my opinion.
