To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that may be improved is the location of the air conditioner (it was blowing right on the bed). However, it was not critical for us, since the nights were cool, and we just opened a balcony door and slept without the AC.
Cosmas was extremely friendly and helpful. He always had good advice for us on a variety of matters. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you, Cosmas! You have made our trip very enjoyable!

Very clean, and great location as only a 8-10mins walk to Thira (which is the best town in Santorini I think). Excellent air con and good shower, things you need in these hot countries. Our host Kosmas was very kind and helpful and made our trip even more special, we would go back.

United KingdomThe room was very spacious and clean. The host was absolutely amazing! He arranged the transfer for us from the airport making starting our holiday stress free. He gave us maps and recommendations when we checked in. Location as well was good, it is slightly outside the main area which meant it was quiet but easy to walk anywhere. The host in the morning came to see us on our way out which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend! :)

Just everything! Very friendly and helpful hosts, we felt welcomed and at home right away. The accommodation is comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. High cleaning standards, something I hardly ever experience anywhere, while I travel a lot. Many compliments for the lady who does the cleaning, excellent job. The location is also excellent, just a short walk to the center and still in a quiet place for a peaceful sleep. I would highly recommend this place.

Simple items (coffee, croissants, crackers, butter and jam) were provided for breakfast. A new bottle of water was given on each day. The communication was really smooth with the host Kosmas. He helped with booking transportation from the airport to the Villa and gave good suggestions on how to plan our 2 days in Fira, which was really helpful. I would recommend staying at Niovi.

The room was big and the bed very comfortable. The location is just a short walk away from Fira city center, with all its shops and restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful at night time! Overall can highly recommend.

GreeceThe room was lovely! It was actually more like an apartment, with a living room and kitchen. It was big, clean and very very comfortable. The apartment was only a few minutes away from the centre as well which was very nice. The host was very nice, got us a taxi to the port and helped us with our luggages. This place was amazing. This place is super awsome! The room is tidy, spacious, simple, but great design, and the bed was very comfy. Whih is a huge plus, since we were hiking a lot around the island. But that's just the room, which is not most valuable part of this place. Kostas, our host is one of the kindest person I've ever met in my life. He was like our dearest uncle, who we visited. He helped us a lot, by explaining where we find what we might needed, best cursions to find, and it was just nice to talk to him. He was never out of line, very respectful, and always smiling. One thing is sure. Whenever we go back, we will stay by him.
