Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaTo walk into town you need to walk on the edge of quite a busy main road. We hired a car for our stay which we’d highly recommend. We hired when we arrived through Spanopoulos who offered good rates and full insurance with low excess.
Maryo village is located in a beautiful location just out of town. Room, pool and facilities were great. Maro was fantastic, so helpful and welcoming.

Our stay here was unforgettable! Perfect from the start. The accommodation was excellent, with a super 180* view over the countryside and sea. Pool area was wonderful, with a bar and lounge seating area, also loungers and parasols. Super breakfast area, where there was a traditional (exceptionally tasty) breakfast served. A short walk (15 mins) to Naoussa, which is a pretty town filled with little cobbled streets, a traditional harbour area and restaurants and boutiques. The hotel is owned by a wonderful family, who made sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. Nothing was too much trouble.Such a pleasure to meet them! Thank you ❤️

United KingdomThe walk into town was a bit of drag in the heat and would recommend taxis back at night as the road can be dangerous but this is no reflection on the property and more on location.
Lovely small hotel ran by a great team of staff where nothing was too much trouble. The view from the pool area and our room was simply stunning and it was far enough away from the crowds in Naoussa so very peaceful. Nice large room cleaned and replenished every day. Breakfast very good!!

United States of AmericaThe property is a bit remote, about a 15 minute walk to Naousa. Definitely best to have a car and then it won’t be an issue. Otherwise it’s a slightly tricky walk along an unpaved road and then a busy road.
Pros: The staff and Maro herself were wonderful and always eager to help. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a relaxing haven after a day of sightseeing. They also had one of the best breakfasts I had in my travels. And the pup Xavier was icing on the cake.

Maryo Village is such a beautiful place, so well taken care of. We absolutely loved our stay here, the huge pool over looking the ocean was amazing and we spent every day there. A 15 minute walk into Naousa - but manageable to walk if you don’t mind. Breakfast was yummy with plenty of options. Maro and her son Manolis were so lovely and helped us with recommendations and transfers. Definitely recommend and will be back!
