- Great Location: under five minutes walk to Fira centre/bus station etc, but still quiet and private. - Wonderful villa: fantastic facilities, such as the indoor hot tub, in a traditional building with tasteful, modern decor. - Outstanding hosts: Alex met us at the villa and after a tour of the apartment, sat with us and hand wrote a list of recommendations for the whole island (places, attractions, restaurants), we stayed for a week and did not have time to do all of them! In the weeks leading up to our trip, Alex and Nikol asked if we had any questions, arranged a transfer from the airport, and booked us a catamaran cruise. Whilst on our trip, they provided any information that we asked for, replied immediately to all queries we had, and made reservations for us at places that we loved and may have missed if not for their recommendations. They would check if we needed anything whenever they saw us, and Nikol even home-baked us a cake!

Property and room was very clean with tasteful choices. We slept well at night with ease. Location is close to town square so you can be in the middle of it all very quickly! Property owners went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a success, not just that the accommodations were acceptable. The extra touch was a true bonus with suggestions made providing a better outcome than following our own planning.

I have been to Thira once before an knew where things were and this location is perfect as it’s not far from the main bus station, supermarkets, restaurants and bars and the caldera, all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Alex met us on our first night even though we were late due to delayed flights, Alex has recommendations that could last you a whole month and you would do something different each day, so you don’t need an itinerary as he does a Fantastic job of this for free. He can arrange transfers for you to go places but he also recommended the buses which are a lot cheaper. Depends on your budget. The buses were fine they ran pretty much to the timetable that Alex provided us. We went to Oia for half a day, lots of cruise ship tours go there, we went early in the day and left just as it was getting super busy, but Alex also recommended a place to go were there are less tourists and you can watch the sun set from there. We also went to Perivolos beach by bus, there are loads of beach bars and the prices vary for the sun loungers but once again on Alex’s recommendations on speaking with each place first to find out the prices we found one where the sundress where free you just had a minimum spend, the closer to the sea the more you had to spend, MOTOTI BEACH BAR, we choose the cabana at the front for a minimum spend of €80 we were there early and could of stayed later but we had a dinner booking at salt and pepper so had to leave around 5pm the price of the food and drink was reasonable and after 7 hours at the beach of drinking and eating we only just hit the €80 (€81). But well worth it. Each evening Alex would say hi and ask us what we had planned if anything and took a real interest in what we were doing, this is what you call real hospitality which I feel through covid has been forgotten by everyone on the planet, also his wife Nikol was very friendly and even one day baked us some muffins! You feel like you are part of their family.

The room was clean, and there was also mineral water and fruit service:) And the best thing is that the frot desk, Alex was very helpful:) He explained the history and tourist attractions of Santorini Island, and even made a reservation for a restaurant where we could see the beautiful sunset in Fira. We'd like to recommend the villa to our friends, and all of you!

There is nothing not to like.

The Villa is a contemporary twist on a typically Greek property - benefitting from a stylish and modern interior with modern facilities, including a Nespresso Machine with topped-up capsules daily. The bathroom is spacious with a fantastic shower. Outside there is a beautiful hot tub for two people, perfect for the size of the villa, with two luxury deckchairs and a separate table and seating area and drying rack. The room was perfectly clean with daily room service and refreshed towels and robes. The Hosts were faultless, nothing was too much effort, from arranging all transfers, a catamaran trip and recommendations and perfect dining experiences. We left Santorini having been everywhere we could have wished and with an excellent summary of the island from Alex.

Our very friendly host Alex gave a great customized hand written overview of what to do and where to eat all over the Island. It was very helpfull specially in a few things we had not done before on our previous visit to the island. It was also a quiet location but still very close to the main square of Fira, although a bit uphill to get there.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the host, Alex. He talked us through the local tourist sites and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and bars. He checked with us each day of our stay to ensure we were comfortable and was always quick to respond with any questions we had. The room was lovely and comfortable and on one of the days, which was rainy and cold, we just put on the fire and watched Netflix on the big TV - perfect! We loved the views from the accommodation and, of course, the hot tub!! Alex and his wife were so friendly and really wanted us to have the best possible time. Their welcoming and friendly way added a personal touch to our holiday. You have to come and stay here!

Nothing - our holiday was perfect thanks to our host!

Where I do begin? The hosts Alex and Nikol are absolute gems, they are so attentive and were available to help us at any time. If we had any questions or issues, they would be there to solve it. Alex also made reservations for us for dinner and booked us on unforgettable excursions, it really made our holiday so hassle free. I had a mini-meltdown over lost valuables whilst in the town and Alex and Nikol were there ASAP to help and calm me down - so kind!! The location is really ideal, a little out of the main town but easily walkable and near the Fira bus station, this was ideal for us! I really felt at home, this has been the only holiday where I have felt looked after by the hosts. Nikol also baked us a lovely cake which we had with our tea every morning!! Absolute treat!! This holiday was made to be so special with thanks to these two lovely people. I wish them nothing but the best!

The location was ideal, the bed was comfortable with high quality and extremely comfortable linen and towels. They really have thought of everything and the attention to detail is top notch. Alex really was the ultimate super host. He provided personalized and thoughtful recommendations (we discovered an amazing restaurant we never would have tried without his suggestion - it was a highlight of our trip) and he also went out of his way to secure a last minute reservation for sunset at a fabulous dinner spot. The room is so comfortable and private. and you have the added bonus of off street parking or pick up service from the ferry. We would gladly stay again and recommend this accommodation to all of our friends.

The place is sparkling clean, well located, nicely decorated and we were very satisfied with the facilities it provides. The apartment was spacious and comfy. Lots of room. Due to it being very hot though, you have to be sure the air condition gets turned on early enough to cool the upstairs down for the evening. Beyond that, it was a very special place with the hosts supplying tons of valuable info and fresh baked goods for snacking. With a five min walk up the hill you are brought right into the heart of Fira. Beds comfy, rental car option close by, great sunsets and yummy restaurants!

Bathroom is small tho clean. Good value. I am 6’ guy and they gave me a tiny bath towel. When I asked for bigger and additional towels there was some misunderstanding about why… this is not done. But ultimately, they left clean, new bigger towels when I returned from the day trip. In other respects, they were great. They brought fresh fish upon my arrival (nice Greek hospitality etc). Water and juice in the fridge. Apples. Friendly conversations.

Great value because it is located just off the main tourist spot and the land prices change dramatically I imagine. Hosts were great. They live all year on the island unlike most who are just there for tourism in the summer months. Knowledgeable. Place was cleaned daily. Quick walk from the bus station and maybe 10-15 minute uphill to the Caldera. Decent views to the back side of Santorini. AC worked well. I did multiple video calls and FaceTime and it worked well.

We found it cool on our first night as it was late in September. But couldn't find a blanket to keep warm. Next day, the host provided us a blanket. Also, we found ants in the unit, especially around our food. I guess ants are fairly common on the island.

We picked this guest house because it was within walking distance to the central bus station. The host Alex is amazing. He gave us a through orientation of the island when we arrived. The unit was spacious and had a small kitchen which we used to make quick breakfast. It also has a jacuzzi tub but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it. WiFi is quick and the place is clean.

We had a great stay here. Alex, Nikol and their daughter are very kind and friendly hosts. The studio was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is great, very close to the center of Santorini. Alex recommended really great restaurants and things to do. He helped us reserve a great table at sunset in a very nice restaurant he recommended and was always available to help with anything we needed. Nikol was also very kind and offered us some food when we arrived. We would highly recommend staying here and would come again without hesitation!
