Nothing at all - I wanted to stay forever!

Location location location! The views are out of this world from virtually every single apartment. You walk through the gates and down the steps and you are absolutely blown away. The apartments are beautifully renovated and the whole place has such an authentic Greek chilled vibe. The owners G and J are so kind, friendly and welcoming - nothing is too much for them whatever you ask - they know someone or are related to someone that can help you take a taxi, hire a boat, book a restaurant etc.. They are also professional chefs and their breakfasts are to die for!

We loved the ease of everything from the moment we arrived, we felt we could relax and unwind straight away. The apartment and the views were exceptional. The hosts were attentive, the breakfasts were superb. We thought that this place was a very special find. Thank you Gerasimos & Joanna, my sister and I would love to return, and in the meantime will recommend your apartments to family and friends :) :)

Gerasimo took the trouble to ring us as we were arriving late, thanks to the Car Hire representatives abandoning us (don't use Auto Europe or Exer) so he kindly offered provide us with some food on arrival at 22.00. He also make the most fabulous breakfast, with some extras as the local bars were still closed. The room was fabulous, breathtaking veiws.

We loved the beautiful decor and the location. The view from our apt was stunning. So calming. The pool was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. A delicious breakfast was included and brought to our balcony each morning at a time suited to us.

Just the car parking really, was a bit sketchy with a poorly maintained road.

The location, the amazing view from the room, its lovely balcony, everyday we had a delicious breakfast with a surprising treat and also the kindness of the owners. Really excellent service.

Kanakis Apartments were even more beautiful than the photos suggested. The property was very tastefully furnished and is in a superb location to watch the sunset over the sea. The breakfast was superb as you’d expect from professional chefs. It is lovely that it accepts pets too.

Would recommend in a heartbeat! Amazing location in this beautiful and quiet village, perfect for exploring the north of the island and beyond. Gerasimos and Joanna were so welcoming and helpful with last minute changes as well as recommendations both locally and further afield! We loved that breakfast changed a little each day (always delicious), and the bespoke meal was to die for (not to be missed)! And that’s not even mentioning the accommodation and view…dreamy. We’ll definitely be back if we come to Kefalonia in the future, thanks so much for having us!

Our apartment was beautiful with a wonderful balcony. Our breakfast each morning was spectacular and also brought to the room and eaten on the balcony. The location was wonderful with fantastic views and sunsets. The staff were all brilliant and helpful with any issues. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing!

Very clean and comfortable apartment with a spectacular view of the sea. The apartment was very nicely decorated/furnished and was cleaned every day of our stay. Delicious and varied breakfast was served each morning on our amazing private balcony overlooking the gorgeous blue sea. We were extremely lucky that the owners, Gerasimos and Joanna, cooked dinner for us several times, again served on our balcony. They are professional chefs so food was absolutely amazing, made with all local ingredients. They really went the extra mile to make each meal a truly special experience. Can’t wait to return fingers crossed next year!

The bathroom is a bit dark and oldfashioned, but large and very clean.

Very friendly hosts, very nice welcome until our room was ready. Thank you again! Perfect location to explore Assos. We liked the views of the ocean and the sunset, the pool area and our large room. Breakfast on the balcony was a highlight.
