The location was a little out of the way so a rental vehicle is necessary.

Loved the location . Being almost on top of the mountain, the views in the mornings and at sunsets, are unbeatable. It was super quiet and relaxing and such a different experience for a hotel. Definitely recommended in case you are searching to be away from the crowds of santorini. Also Reina the manager, was amazing. She welcomed us so warmly, and was super helpful. Connected us with taxi that was super helpful and always available.

The stay at Rene’s was phenomenal. Firstly, it’s a very beautiful and peaceful place, close to the monastery on the Top of the Mountain with a beautiful location. Rene and her family were very helpful. The restaurants they recommended - The Cave of Nicolas and Rymidi in Pyrgos were wonderful, frequented by the locals. Thanks to the fact that we ate our lunch a bit later, we managed to get a great tables and didn’t wait long for amazing local dishes. To summarize, my wife and I went to Santorini for a 5-day stay, our first without kids. And it was the perfect place. The property is in the heart of the island, from where we could reach every corner of the island within a maximum of 20 minutes. We drove to the top of the mountain, where you can admire the magnificent sunrises and sunsets, in 4 minutes. It’s definitely necessary to rent a car or a quad to fully enjoy the stay. We preferred air conditioned car. The island is great for Beach, sightseeing, trekking. Unforgettable for us were breakfasts in Kampanelia Village Suites with a wonderful view, which we could savor alone on the terrace, without the hustle and bustle of a hotel restaurant. And the fact that Rana prepared breakfast products in the room, we were not tied to any meal times.

The location is up on the hill with a panoramic view of the sea and the islands… the room was spacious, clean, and had everything that we needed… had a variety of breakfast options… and overall our hostess Rena was excellent… she was forthcoming in attending to our needs and made our stay comfortable… our children loved her company too

As I am terrified of heights it was not really the location for me. I was terrified to walk down the mountain road and would not drive either! There is no normal taxi service in Pyrgos although you can get airport taxis there. Vehicles up to minibus size can get in and out!. Kamari Tours would not pick me up there although the coaches go right past to the Prophet Elias Monastery, I had to walk down the mountain and through the village to the other end for the bus to take me straight back past the villa to the monastery after an hours wait. That was the issue of Kamari tours not the villas and I insisted that they drop me back in the evening. There is a guy who will take you up for 15 Euros, ring through Johnnie's Cafe who do lovely food, pizzas, pasta, burgers etc and gelato! This is the perfect location if you hire a car or are going to have private tours that include pick up! Can be very windy up there at times but nice and cool in the heat!

From the minute I arrived at 1 00 am the lovely host Rena could not have been more helpful. I was given a large apartment even though only a single traveller and the food provided for a self cook breakfast was enough to feed me for the 5 nights that I was there for all meals! Everything was provided including a full litre of milk, juice eggs cheese and cold meats, as well as cereal, bread, croissants and cake! She also gave me some wine as a lovely little nightcap. Although these villas are self catering a full breakfast is provided and rooms are cleaned and new towels provided every day! The hotel organised my taxi from the airport, thank you Yiannis! Rena and her father helped me get to Pyrgos when they could, where you can catch a bus to Fira or Perissa and change at Mesaria for other destinations. If you are driving it is very central for anywhere on the island! The views are spectacular as this Villa is located half way up the mountain to the monastery behind Pyrgos. Pyrgos is beautiful and quiet apart from when the tour buses come through in the mornings. A peaceful and beautiful place to stay! Perfect if you have a car and don't mind heights, you will enjoy the perfect hosts in Rena and Yianis! Very good value for what you get and beautiful rooftop areas to watch sunset!

I cannot thank the hosts enough for such a wonderful stay during my first time in Greece. They were extremely accommodating and helped call a ride to and from the ferry. I really felt the Greek Hospitality!

Went to shower at night thinking the water has heater turned on but it was not, so ended with a cold shower. We were unable to turn on from the room and had to call the host to turn on.

Location is what we expected, away from the crowd in Santorini, although one needs a car to get around, and it is high up in a hill which gives a breath taking view of the island. The host was particularly friendly, helpful and responsive.

The best part of our stay was Rena the owner and host. She was ezceptionally accommodating and welcome. She equiped our rooms with a full breakfast of eggs, croissants, crackers, cake, jam butter, cereal milk and almond milk for my vegan son. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Very modern, with air conditioning and a TV. Again, Rena made our stay incredible. I will go back in a heart beat!!!

Rena, the owner of the property, was an amazing host. She personally welcomed my mother and me with a bottle of dry rose wine and a box of nuts. The room was very clean and fully stocked with free breakfast items, including eggs, croissants, bread, butter, juice, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, and more. We were able to fry the eggs with the butter on the little stove in the room. The property and its surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, with a spectacular view of the sea. At checkout, Rena gave us a parting gift - a lovely Santorini refrigerator magnet.

The room is very cosy and has all the necessary commodities. Room is comfortable for a family of 4 and has a small kitchenette where you can cook your meals or breakfast. The hostess Rena is very nice and provided some kind amenities on our reception. The support given and the kindness of Rena was extraordinary.

The property was located up a little hill in Fira, so it was not in the super touristy areas like Oia. But we had the best views of the city lights at night, as well as the sunsets and sunrises. The room was beautifully designed and super spacious too!
