The location is a ways outside of the city so some people may prefer to be in town. You can always rent a car or ATV to get around.

We were greeted by the manager who explained everything about the hotel and what activities were available on the island. He also gave us a free upgrade to a beautiful loft room with a personal hot tub and two balconies. The vistas were beautiful from everywhere on the property. They also have a beautiful pool with a restaurant and bar. Great value for the money.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t enjoy. I do recommend renting a car for your stay so that you are able to go explore the island, but I guarantee you will be happy to return to the calm of Akrotiri and the comfort of Kalestesia Suites.

The staff at this property truly made me feel at home from even before I arrived until after I left. As a solo traveler who was there working remotely it was a wonderful experience. From their thorough check in where they provided recommendations for local restaurants to their responsiveness to my requests, they were gracious hosts. I stayed for a week so I was able to try several of the recommendations and they exceeded expectations. The property is set at one of the highest points on the southern part of the island. The views from my room were spectacular, it was like looking at a beautiful painting, but it was real! It has amazing views of the sunrise and sunset. My room was in their new section where I enjoyed a private Jacuzzi, but I also went up to the main pool where I was able to meet other guests and socialize. It was the best of both worlds! The room itself was fresh, modern, and pristine. The breakfast was delicious. I can’t say enough good things. I had friends staying at other hotels around the island, so I was able to compare, and we all agreed that this was clearly the best.

Small boutique family run hotel. Staff were wonderful. Views were breathtaking, same views and sun sets at Oia but a fifth of the price. Hotel was spotless and very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and always very happy to help. Short walk down to small town with a good selection of restaurants. We got to stay in both the new and old Kalestesia, both incredible.

Super views from our room as well as the property - can see Caldera, volcano Island, Fira, Oia - captured in 1 frame. Room was big with comfortable beds and private jacuzzi. Breakfast was simple but quite filling with good vegetarian options, served by pleasant staff and in a place with beautiful views of the other side of the island. Staff were amazing and Mr. Teo was really helpful from the time we checked in till we checked out and also gave us some great travel tips.

If this is your first time in Santorini, you might need to consider the hotel private transportation it’s the only great way to make your trip enjoyable without having to get in shared rides with multiple passengers which can be very stressful and time consuming.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kalestesia suites. it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm ,genuine and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast . The variety and quality of the food were exceptional. Staff was extremely kind and attentive to our needs.breakfast area has a great view which was definitely a plus. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Whether it was from the room or the hotel's dining area. This hotel is so lucky to have Teo , he is amazing and he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional . From the moment we entered the hotel and until we checked out he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire stay . Teo was not only giving recommendations of activities and places to visits but also facilitating transportation and available all day to help us with any questions or needs .His genuine care is what made our stay outstanding and far beyond any other experiences we had in other hotels because we were treated like family . Overall the genuine care from Teo and all the staff that we interacted with really stood out and we felt like we were treated like family .If you want to have an amazing experience in Santorini then this is the right hotel for you .

Located at the highest point of Akrotiri, the hotel offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Caldera. The studios are all oriented towards that view, so you can enjoy a drink on your terrace while admiring the magnificent cliffs of Santorini from the comfort of your own hot tub. Everything was great - the breakfast, the pool, the rooms, but what makes a real difference was the staff - so friendly and helpful. Teo was exceptional, providing us with useful information and tips where to go and what to see on the island, managing reservations for restaurants and what not. I strongly recommend hiring a car or ATV and exploring less tourist locations while immersing in that magical atmosphere the island has to offer.

Views were beautiful, lovely pool to sit around. Staff were great, even did a big bbq for the religious festival day they have. Tom remembered all the details and things our children liked for breakfast. Advised to do a brilliant boat trip.

only downside is the road to get there is very tight and high up the hill, we got used to it after driving up a couple of times though, so I wouldn’t let it put you off :)

The road to the hotel is very small and up on the hill. The streets are narrow. Please only if you are an experience driver go there with your own car. Or take a taxi or something. But we were girls and could do it :). Just take a good strong car. And if you can’t I’m sure the hotel will help you to get there. But the first day it was a bit of concerning for us but after 1 day we learned how to drive easily up to the hill. Also for children’s the swimming pool is very slippery so watch out they don’t run. But this is just a tip! The hotel is great great! The best view in santorini!

The hotel is so beautiful! The view is like the pictures. The best view in santorini! I didn’t want to leave the hotel. It has everything!! The rooms are so cute and perfect. It’s such a silent hotel!!! U can even leave your door open. Nothing happens. Such a safe and clean hotel. This is the place to relax and chill!! The staff is also very helpful and so kind! The breakfast is AMAZING!! they bring whatever you like and are so kind. I really would like to come back to this hotel!
