We fell in love with Joanna Villas as soon as we arrived. The common area where the pool and breakfast area are located have a stunning background view of the mountain. The room was very nicely decorated, very comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and shower. Fantastic location, wonderful breakfast and Vaggelis the owner is one of the highlights of the place. Rest assured he will do everything to make your stay perfect. We followed all his recommendations and were very happy to have done so as all of them were great! Great places to eat nearby. Do go to Elias grill and Firastikies.

1. Wi-Fi is not so stable for couple nights. ( it didn’t bother me too much. My friends wanted to watch videos and didn’t have enough data…..it’s a bit annoying for them) 2. If you don’t like kids, here might not be your choice. We stayed here for 2 nights and there were 3-4 families with kids.

1. Vangelis is friendly, generous and provides great information ( where to go, where to eat, etc) 2. The villa is very close to the black beach, yet situated in a quiet area, so you won't feel disturbed. 3. The vibe is chill and peaceful! 4. It’s suitable for family with kids.

We have no complaints!

Vangelis was a great host with lots of advice for where to eat and places to visit. We had a very relaxing stay and could not fault the accommodation. Kamari is perfect if you want the combination of a beach holiday with easy access to the historic towns and sites.

Not much we didn't like. Though I felt the breakfast wasn't the same standard as the accommodation. The breakfast was good, with local foods and even fresh orange juice. I'm not saying it wasn't good. But if there was one thing to improve on for me that would be the only thing I can think of. Also, the shower was often cold in the mornings. (I think hot water is made on the rooves through the day) but we were there towards the end of the season, so maybe thats better in summer. It wasn't a problem....we just showered in the evening.

Wow! This really was such a wonderful place to stay. The setting was VERY quiet....you would have no idea you are staying in a busy tourist spot. The landscaping and care taken around the villas and pool was beautiful. Its clear that the Villas are loved and cared for. We booked a 1 bed apartment, so we had some space. I loved our private little seating area outside, the spacious living room and bedroom, and HUGE and comfy bed. I would absolutely recommend to friends and I would certainly return, especially with kids as it was a very child friendly place. It was clean and the host was sooo attentive. Amazing: )

My son and I spend a week in Joanna Villas. We were greeting on arrival by Vangelis. During our stay Vangelis was always there to give advice where we should visit. Our room was spacious lovely decorated. The pool was clean, they provided breakfast daily which was good. All the staff was friendly.

That we didn’t stay longer!

The property is of a very high standard with beautiful calming decor. We had a two bedroom apartment which was roomy, well equipped with comfortable beds and ample storage. Vangelis was so helpful promptly answering all my questions. The location was excellent with bars, cafes and shops very close by, the sea no more than 10 mins away and yet quiet at night. Breakfast was plentiful and it was easy to ask Vangelis or Sveta if you fancied something or wanted more. Fresh orange juice every morning and without being extravagant, we never felt we left hungry.

Location, the room, pool, the staff, the privacy, the mountain view, the ease of everything and, last but not least, the host, Vangelis, who went out of his way to assure everyone he met was warmly welcomed and catered for throughout the stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cannot recommend any higher. Just book it. The rest is easy.

Very pleasant complex in quiet setting close to Kamari Beach. Excellent pool, and playground for the kids. Good continental breakfast. Owner is hands-on, and very socialable, and was a great help assisting us. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Had everything you need for a pleasant vacation. The design is very nice and the setup is very thought through. It’s very close to the beach promenade, shops, restaurants etc. We also loved the pool area with warm and clean water (shallow water for kids too) comfy sunbeds and a gorgeous environment with lots of plants and shade. The cherry on top was however the personality of the owner Vangelis. He is kind, extremely friendly and very helpful. Always has a good word for everyone. Make sure to listen to what he suggests for trips, restaurants, the best place to swim etc.

This is a really great place to stay in Kamari, especially if you have children. The rooms are all close to the pool, which is clean and supplied with plenty of inflatables and balls. The pool itself is great for all ages and swimming abilities. Our 6yr and 3yr olds couldn’t get enough of it! There are plenty of sun beds around the pool and as the property is located close to the beach you have the option of both. Pool towels are provided on request. Everyone was incredibly friendly, especially Vangelis who was very welcoming and informative and offered loads of local insights into what to visit and when (to avoid the crowds - definitely listen to him.) Vangelis was also super accommodating with us on our last day when our flight back to London didn’t leave until 21:30! The property is ideally located close to the beach but away from the main hustle of the evening activity. If you are looking for somewhere really welcoming, very relaxed and well located for easy access to the whole island then you really don’t need to look any further.

Hotel is wonderful and the location is the best in Kamari. The pool is really great and plenty of beds for everyone. The sea is a few minutes away as well as loads of restaurants. The hotel owner Vangelis is excellent and a wonderful host and ensures you will have a great stay and help with any queries and give you great tips to help you. The breakfast is great and again the staff very helpful and friendly.

Great Hotel, Vangelis the hotel owner was very accommodating, he gave us a choice of room on arrival and also a late check-out on our departure day, he went above and beyond with customer service. The room was lovely, we had a room for 2 adults, 2 kids and plenty of space. It was modern yet had a traditional greek theme. The pool was fantastic, good size for the children to play. Again, the hotel supplied plenty of floaties and pool toys for all the children. Breakfast was great. Location of the hotel was good too, 5 minute walk to the beach and within 20 seconds, you are surrounded by shops and restaurants. Fabulous hotel, would definitely recommend!
