Truly an excellent and accomodating host who helped us take our luggage and arrange transport to and from the airport. Beautiful view from the hot tub, really cute interior. Has parking and just a stones throw away from Oia. Perfect destination for couples!

We loved everything. If we had to think of one ‘negative’ it would be that the beds were not the most comfortable, for us.

We loved the location: close to Oia but out of the supper busy area. Also loved our outdoor space with the most amazing views! The host was so kind and helpful.

Gabbiano Traditional Cave Houses was a dream come true! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by the host Irini she spent time with us letting us know all the hints and tips of the island and all her restaurant recommendations were amazing. But what absolutely sold this place was the stunning caldera views from the balcony and roof top jacuzzi - I have never loved a hotel as much as I did this one. The location was perfect close enough to Oia that you could walk in and explore in the morning before the huge crowds arrived and then in the afternoon relax in the privacy of your villa enjoying the views and beautiful sunset. Hand down the best hotel ever!!!!

The view was the main object of our stay and it was breathtaking. The facility and the bedroom is well equipped and comfy. We enjoyed the sunset in the jacuzzi and it was perfect !

This place hasn’t received enough recognition in previous reviews. It is a stunning hideaway with fantastic views of the caldera, from the pool and from the balcony. Even better views from where we were compared to further up the hill!! Only a quick 5 minute walk to the Main Street and supermarket. Clean and tidy with service every morning for clean towels and bedding. Irini was a fantastic help and provided us with a great map to navigate our stay. We followed all of her recommendations and were very pleased. Value for money we would definitely recommend this place to all our friends and fellow Australian wanting visit the beautiful Santorini!

In the evening there were insects in the jacuzzi and this prevented us from spending more time in it

We spent our honeymoon and the location is excellent, the view from the room is breathtaking and the silence is relaxing. Amazing sunsets! Irini is very nice and helpful, she was available at any hour for questions and recommendations and it was above and beyond our expectations. In my opinion, the matter of insects in the jacuzzi should be improved in the evening and also put a body mirror in the room and this will add to the experience of staying there. We really liked the place, the view, the service and the availability and we would definitely like to come back in the future. Of course warmly and wholeheartedly recommend.

Everything was perfect

We cannot say enough good things about this cave home! It’s stunning, picturesque, close to downtown Oia and SO special! Don’t hesitate, book this spot ASAP! The host manager was excellent, the facility was clean, and we had THE BEST TIME!

This location was unreal! The views were stunning, I couldn't believe they were real. The location is perfect too, about a 15 min walk off the main part of Oia which was perfect given how crowded that area was. The hot tub was also a great perk! Great to sit and watch the sunset for it. Would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Going to Santorini was a dream come true :-). Really amazing cave houses. My husband and I spent 5 glorious days on Santorini and stayed at Gabbiano (hint: the Cupid apartment is cozy, spacious and very spacious inside with a fully equipped kitchenette and has a great sunset view from the hot tub!) Honestly, it's a small house.... not a room! The views are to die for, you can see the sunset from your private hot tub, it's just perfect. It's in the best spot for exploring Oia, about a 10 minute walk into all the hustle and bustle. Irini went above and beyond from start to finish of our stay. In contact through WhatsApp or in person, whenever we needed them and gave us lots of information. Highly recommended.

The bathroom could be more modern as it seemed older than the rest of the house. Disappointed that breakfast wasn't included even though prices were quite high - we were told about this prior to the stay though.

It was nice to have someone meet us at arrival. The location was great, just outside the main strip of shops of Oia. Also have some markets around that are useful. The A/C in the House was great and kept the whole house cool throughout the really hot days. The rooftop pool is a really nice feature.

everything is so good that I can’t find anything I don’t like

The location is super strategic, it’s very close to the Main Street at Oia but it’s out from the hustle and bustle..and the cave house is perfect and exactly what I’m looking for in this beautiful Santorini. Besides, the sunset view from the jacuzzi is spectacular! The staff too is super friendly, I arrived earlier than expected but the staff is so nice to serve me with some coffees and cookies while waiting. She also give good advices on places to visit in Oia, which restaurant have the best view and which restaurant serves delicious food..everything is so on point! I have a pleasant stay here in this lovely cave house!
