The entire experience was amazing, the managers of the hotel were hospitable and friendly. The location is perfect for couples looking to explore. We loved our time here and would recommend to anyone.

Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. My partner and I stayed at Firalia for 4 nights in October. Of all the places we stayed over our 6 week European holiday, this was by far our favourite. George and Kostis are so friendly and made our stay so comfortable. When I told them I was vegan they sourced special vegan Greek yogurt for my breakfasts and gave us a list of the best vegan and vegan catering restaurants on the island. Our room was spectacular and the views every night from the terrace were incredible. We drank wine most nights as the sun set and felt so privileged that we could enjoy the view whenever we wanted to. We cannot recommend staying here enough.

We loved our stay at Firalia, Casa in Rock Suites. The location was perfect. The room was beautiful. The breakfast delivered to our room everyday was timely and delicious. George and Kostis were so friendly and the perfect hosts. They were extremely helpful with anything we needed. They gave great suggestions for restaurants and excursions. We enjoyed our chats with George every night and Kostis came to our rescue when we left our passports in our room after we had left to go to another island. Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the terrace, drinking champagne and watching the sunset. I would highly recommend!!

The hairdryer sometimes did not turn on immediately.

Very friendly staff, hosts helped us with any questions we had, suggested some great places to visit. Big, light, clean room, many space for all your needs. Nice yard and terrace with great view on the caldera and the city, especially on the sunset. Good location, close to anything. Tasty breakfasts which you can have at your room or yard. Wi-Fi connection was very good.

New, beautifully renovated, charming house, with everything you could ask for. Our room was large, very nicely furnished and quiet. Lack of pool meant nothing to us. George and Konsti couldn’t have been more welcoming, solicitous and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast on one of the two decks, both with wonderful caldera (volcano) views. One orders breakfast the night before, with a nice range of choices.

I'm sorry to say that the two single beds were not the most comfortable, but it was manageable. The bed in the main suite was great!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and responded positively to every request. Breakfast was the best we had on our 3 week stay in Greece. Great design elements, very tasteful.

Only good things to say

Amazing location with great views across the Aegean Sea and the Volcano. Amazing to watch the sunsets every evening away from the crowds. This Ship Captains house has been renovated to a very high standard.

Cramped for 4 people. The upstairs bed did not have room for suitcases. The bathroom was also very small for 4 people. It would probably be best to remove the twin beds and just market the room for 2 people. Or make room for suitcases upstairs (I saw a door to an area that was not accessible but maybe suitcases could go in there?? Just a thought).

We loved the courtyard, the staff and the location. However, the rooms were a bit cramped with our suitcases (4 large). A family of four was a bit crowded with just one bath but we made it work. And besides, the staff made up for it all. They were ALL so sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was a very nice touch. Thank you!

We had a perfect stay at Firalia. Location is amazing, just in the center of everything, but quiet enough. The cave suite was very comfortable and spacious. They have good internet connection that was perfect for remote working. Kostis and George are amazing hosts, they are very attentive to every detail. Thank you for the mirror and also for the birthday surprise 🙂

If you can do without a pool this is the place to book! The yard might be one of the few places that gives you some sort of privacy in Fira and it is really beautiful. Comfortable beds too...

Let's start with the staff, Kostis and George who run the place were wonderful and kind. They took care and gave great tips for a trip to the island. The room (suite) was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. A large selection at breakfast, served fresh directly to the room or the roof terraces, according to your choice. The view from the roof terraces was wonderful and looked out over the volcano and the bay of Fira to Oia. A great experience. We will be happy to return. Levi family

Nothing. They have only been operating this place since May 23, if this had a spa / hot tub / small pool would have been the icing on the cake but not a deal breaker and made no difference to our trip.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. George / Kosta and their team are so friendly, warm, receptive and will go out of their way for anything you need. The included breakfast is definitely worth the value and you will not go hungry, highly recommended. It is centrally located to everything, it has 2 balconies where you can view the sunset from both. The room especially was perfect with travelling with 2 x 16yr old twins with 2 single beds in the main room and a beautiful main bedroom with a large double bed. The bedroom also had a great shower with a fixed shower head instead of a hand held unit. We cant speak highly enough of this place, wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
