The beds are too soft, and the single bed is actually far more comfortable. The bathroom design is not ideal as the shower area is not convinient. A few more chairs to sit would improve the comfort.

The sunset view from the balcony is spectacular, among the most beautiful scenery you can experience in your life. The breakfast and cleaning staff are especially friendly, providing amenities and answering questions immediately.

We did not enjoy the bath tube, the fresh painting was taking off. But who needs a bath tube when there is a hot tube The Ireland may have some electricity shortage, therefore you may experience some discomfort but this has nothing to do with the Hotel.

Everything was really dreamy. We booked The Matter suite, a more private room than others, it had a beautiful view on the sea, the sunset and volcano. The pictures describing the rooms are very accurate. The place of the hotel as well is perfect. It is very close to pretty places of Fira and the bus station. Grogoris (sorry if it is wrong spelled) was a really great host he always advised us things to do and the best way to organize. The cleaning ladie was also really great. The breakfast was also perfect, we could decide what to eat and they would deliver it to our balcony at the decided time. We went there off season, it was a little windy but we could still enjoy the hot-tube (set at 37 degrees by default).

Our cave suite was awesome! Huge room, nice views, private balcony with view of the balloons. The rooftop terrace was spectacular, perfect for watching and photoshoots with the balloons!

Mosquitoes

Going during the non-peak season is the best time because we were able to enjoy our view of the Calderon and the sunset peacefully. There is not a lot of noise or foot traffic. We used the jacuzzi outside even in 60 degrees fahrenheit, and it was still comfortable.

The bath thub inside did not work, they had to come to repair. There was an electrical power shutdown on the island, this somehow broke something with the heating tank, so we had no hot water one night for our shower. The good side is that the hotel manager instantly reacted and took action to solve the issue. It was overall a royal treatment.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. At the check-in they recommended us restaurants and bars to visit which was nice. We ended up going to one of the places they recommended and it was super nice. The room was specious and had everything we needed. It’s kept clean every day. The bathroom was also large. It was great that we could flush the used toilet paper directly into the toilet. I’ve heard from my friends who stayed in a five star hotel in Santorini that they even had to dispose them into a bin next to the toilet. The welcome drink, and the a la carte breakfast (which was served directly at the table on your balcony in front of the room with a great view) were just simply amazing. The amount of care the hotel staff was huge and I enjoyed everything about this place.

Location in Fira perfect. In the middle of shops and restaurants. View from balcony are absolutely amazing Breakfast served each was excellent with plenty of options. Staff were very accommodating and always there for any requests. Room very comfortable and spacious and bed comfortable.

The location is perfect! In the middle of everything! Breakfast is superb! Sunset view from the balcony is breathtaking! Staff are friendly and gave us good tips to explore the island! Stairs to the hotel is doable for people with knee problem. Take a room with a hot tub and enjoy the sunset view everyday.
