Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe receptionist didn’t say a word! No hello and welcome. No thank you for staying with us and I hope you enjoy your stay or advice about where my room was - which was in another hotel building. When I left and returned the room key, no thank you and did you find the room ok and satisfactory? Or goodbye and we hope you come back. In fact not a word. Terrible behaviour for the front of the hotel.
I didn’t have the breakfast. Location was fine and room was ok. Clean and quiet

United States of AmericaFor my trip I didn't find anything I can complain about.
Room was clean and quiet. Good location as there were parks and restaurants at walkable distance. Pretty good breakfast.

United KingdomDidn't like being on the fourth floor with a steep winding staircase. Especially at the end of the day after hours of travelling and walking around London. Booked The White House but was actually put up in The Seymour hotel, where we had to go to check in. Guessing it's a group of hotels all joined together. Which is fine but should be told may be put up in different hotels. Breakfast was a continental, which was expected with the cost, not a lot of choice though. The cereal tasted stale, the toast was pre-prepared, so they were cold and weren't very well toasted tbh. Maybe having a couple of toasters available for people to toast their own when they actually want it. Cereal boxes rather than dispensers. The juice was vile and looked like it had been sat in the dispensers for ages. Lots of sediment and stuff floating around in it. Cheese and ham slices didn't look very appealing either.
Close to station and on multiple bus routes. There are plenty of shops, cafes and bars around. Nice room, not very big, but it had 2 separate beds in, and a little vanity area with a wardrobe, a decent size ensuite with a shower. Sink a little small, but this was only really an issue when it came to filling the kettle. Tea and coffee provided would have liked a couple more teabags and sugar, though.

United States of AmericaSize of room. Impossible to eat or work in. Window would not close or lock and anyone in next rooms could just enter your room. Front desk was sleeping on arrival. Check in is in another hotel.
Location. Near Paddington tube and station. Clean. Shower size great

United KingdomThe room wasn't particularly clean. The second night was very loud with the room next to us up making noise until 2.30am when we finally went to reception for the second time to ask for help. The receptionist did come and assist in asking the other guests to quieten down but it did put a downer on our stay not to be able to get a good night's rest.
Big enough room especially by London standards. Beds were comfy. Location of hotel easy to access even by bus. Receptionist allowed us to check in a few minutes earlier than 2pm when we turned up slightly early which was helpful although had offered to allow us to leave bags if we needed.

PakistanRooms and baths are small but for the price they are okay. Breakfast timing of 7-9 am is very inconvenient to those who are on leisure trip. It must be extended to 10 am. I found some of the staff in dining room unhelpful and somewhat rude. Rest of the staff, specially at reception were courteous and helpful.
Location is the best in London. 5 minutes walk from train, tube and bus stations. Good restaurants around. And what really mattered to me was that Mosque is right next to the hotel.

United KingdomThe fans (2) didn't work. The hand wash was thick and doffoxult to use!
The staff were really helpful and the room, even though on the smallish side, was good. Only thing was having 2 fans and neither worked. Other than that, really good. Nice continental breakfast too.

United KingdomThe reception, even if the member of staff was very nice, when we went the 1st day of arrival to leave there some suitcases, they were not around for a while, so we had to go for lunch taking our suitcases. It wasn’t a problem, but it would have been nice to leave them there, to see someone in the lobby. Also, I would have liked to have 2 keys for the rooms instead of 1.
Location is perfect, really well connected via bus and train/tube. We liked the cleanliness of the rooms, very quiet area, beds were small but comfy. In general, we were very satisfied! The breakfast was quite good, not the best, but for the price was quite good.

United KingdomWater pressure is really bad. I gave up to shower. I wanted a private bathroom but without being able to shower, I might have been better off with a shared working shower.
The room was well equipped for the price, and bed comfortable. It was fairly quiet and in walking distance from underground and shops.

We only stayed overnight between trips. The building appears to be a complex of hotels as we ended up staying in another one. Breakfast was sufficient.

United KingdomThe rooms were tidy but could do with a freshen up. Mild smoky smell and broken bathroom door handle and window wouldn’t lock.
The reception man was extremely helpful, polite and kind. We were staying at short notice due to needing easy access to a hospital where a relative was in his last days. The man, whose name I sadly didn’t get, did all he could to make the stay as good as possible and was really accommodating. I cannot thank him enough.

United KingdomWe were on lower ground floor so no view. Original room was on third floor so we had option of no view and one floor of stairs or 3 flights. No lift Breakfast could have done with some fruit and honey. Noise from room above us!
The bathroom was clean and had a decent shower. We had a quadruple room. Was clean and comfortable but hot (fan good but too noisy to keep on all night even on mute setting). Staff were helpful and moved us to a different floor as no lift and no-one to help take the case up (we had requested ground floor but by message after booking so it hadn't been seen). Breakfast was continental buffet with cereal, toast, ham, cheese, jam (mostly peach!) . Tea coffee hot chocolate and fruit juice. nice enough!
