Phil and Gary were super friendly, super caring, super helpful. The atmosphere was very familiar, and comfy. Rooms were very clean and nice. Drinks were always available at a very reasonable price.

This is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it. Full of character and beautifully decorated throughout. Gary and Philip are super friendly and genuinely care about you having a great stay. The hotel is immaculate throughout and the bedroom has everything we needed. The bed, pillows and bedding were all top quality and it was very peaceful, given just how great the location is to the sea front. Breakfast was excellent, with top end ingredients and a massive shout out to Izzie who was looked after us at breakfast. She was super efficient, friendly and is a real star. This was our first time staying, but definitely won’t be our last.

Torcroft is in a great location to explore the southwest portion of the UK, the English Rivera, Penzance, St. Michael’s, St. Ives, and Cornwall. This B&B was beautifully restored and impeccably clean. Comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, delicious breakfast and delightful hosts. Private parking is also a huge plus. Phillip and Gary gave us a great overview of this area providing us with a wide variety of things to enjoy. Truly, we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit.

The hotel is exceptional, beautifully kept, clean, cosy and comfortable. The owners are wonderful making sure that the guests have everything they need and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are superb catering for everyone’s needs with good quality locally sourced produce.

I have no flaws for the torcroft. It was absolutely stunning.

Me and my partner absolutely loved the room we had. Such beautiful decor and a stunning balcony with a beautiful view. The customer service was outstanding and we felt right at home. So much we are going to book again hopefully for the end of the month.

We were just a little disappointed that there was a hill to climb to get to the Torcroft! If it had been less windy and drier and we had been a few years younger........... However it was well worth the climb so no problem really.

We loved The Torcroft and Gary & Philip were very good hosts. The breakfast was delicious and always served with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we loved being able to see the sea even though it was a partial view!!

Pretty much everything. Phillip was a great host all the time. The breakfast was great. Didn't use the bar but, it has plenty variety and operates in a very honest way. It's far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, which allows you to enjoy more calmness.

Gary & Philip have created an absolutely stunning guesthouse in walking distance of Torquays sea front - the room was lovely and spacious with a balcony and we made use of their gorgeous honesty bar on the last night we were there, a great way of relaxing with a drink away from the rain!
