The toilet/shower is quite small, but everything worked well and didn’t really bother me.

The location is great, 5min walk to Paddington station and great connections to a lot of places by metro/buses. Nice and calm hotel street, clean and comfy rooms and good wifi. The breakfast lady was super nice and always happy, so it was a great start for the day!

Replace the older windows! The wind was very noisy and was difficult to sleep. also the bathroom needs some upgrading.

The shower head didnt stay up so showering was a challenge. Breakfast was reasonable but nothing hot and reception staff could be a bit more friendly.

The windows even tho looked very nice and traditional they did not help to stop the noise from the outside so did effect sleeping.

We were on the 3rd floor, and I counted around 56 steps to get to the room. By step 40, my legs were burning. Luckily, we only had a rucksack, but for people with luggage, they will struggle. Due to the age of the property and building restrictions, our room 17, although pleasant, the sash windows did allow a lot of road noise but a pair of ear plugs and it won't be an issue. The kind gentleman on reception did offer to change our room, but we only had one night left, so we stayed where we were. Having to go to reception to get a hot drink was a bit annoying, especially when having to climb the stairs again afterwards. A kettle in the room would be more beneficial. Although there are a couple of negatives, it is only personal ones and so don't let these put you off staying as we would book again.

Perfect location only a short walk to Paddington Station, it's situated on a lovely leafy street, the view from the window was lovely and you were able to open the top or bottom of the sash windows. The room was small but ample for a few nights. Came with a safe, hairdryer, and small TV. The staff were very friendly and engaged in conversation and also provided us with a map which was good. Would definitely book again

Excellent location in a quiet leafy garden road near to two tube stations. Facilities basic but comfortable and clean and ideal for a night in London at a reasonable price. Staff friendly. Coffee and tea facilities in reception.

We were staying on the third floor and they didn't have a lift and we had to drag our bags on narrow stairs 3 floors up. They also did not have a kettle and teas/coffees in the room so every time you'd need a hot drink you'd have to go down to the reception. Which wasn't nice considering we were on 3rd floor! Our room was also facing the road and it was very noisy because of the cars late at night, I didn't sleep very well because of that.

The hotel was clean and the room was just as advertised. Staff were helpful at the desk as well as the kitchen in the morning for breakfast. We drove to London and had reserved the parking space which was bang opposite to the hotel and not the street which was very good.
