The breakfasts were terrible and poot value for money. Full English buffet on the first day was cold, tasteless and poor quality. Tried again the second day with smashed avocado and poached eggs --- avocado ok but the eggs were solid and cold. Need to up their game in the kitchen! The staff in the restaurant were lovely though and the coffee was ok.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean . Lovely bathroom, big soft towels, nice products. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The general ambiance of the hotel was great. Excellent location.

The pictures of the room show on the site make it look fancier than it actually is. The room we got was very long and the sitting / relaxation area was one uncomfortable chair (in a double double room) and a very old television which was a bit pointless. For a room like that there should be a sofa atleast I feel. The room was clean but was a little run down, the carpet was ripped and there were stains on the wall which could have been painted over. Id say over all it was nicer than a premier inn or ibis hotel but not by much.

The entrance to the hotel is nice, the reception staff are always there and check-in was quick. When I needed assistance over the weekend they helped me out quickly. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. Location was good for Manchester city center.

Breakfast - super tasty and good quality produce however the time taken was unfortunately a little silly ! Over 75 minutes from entering the breakfast area to leaving - However Issac did a great job in cleaning, serving and taking orders by seemingly himself ( we thought at least three staff members or a pre order system would have been ideal ) - Issac was friendly , apologetic and upbeat despite things being out of his hands , a really great experience with the server ! :)

Perfect location with modern and simple rooms, super friendly staff as always - would especially like to mention Issac who did an amazing job at a difficult breakfast service !

The room was clean-ish but could be cleaner there was hair in the sink, the rug next to the bed wasn’t straightened out etc. Not biggest deal but attention to details could be better. Also breakfast was okay, toast was burnt and service could be a bit better had to wait for a long time to order despite there not being that many people

Being picky but… some of the communal areas look a bit uncared for. The open ceilings didn’t work for me personally but I appreciate they are a design feature! Same with the ‘bare’ walls in the bedroom. Personally feel the room would have looked much more attractive with nice paint or wallpaper. Could have done with a dressing table in the room when getting ready to go out.

Great location. Lobby and dining/bar areas look really smart. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and a good size. Shower was great.

Busy bus stop right outside the door. You have to work your way through the people queuing to get to the steps and inside.

Great location. High quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean! Well equipped room. Baggage storage facility was a lovely bonus enabling us to extend our weekend in the city by an extra few hours as we’d travelled on the train.

The hot water took 10m to get to warm on an evening, which wasn't a terrible inconvenience but did feel wasteful and was far from ideal to have to wait so long. I'm unsure the Whatsapp/mobile contact number is the best way of ensuring reachability - we needed some additional bedding at 12am but after several messages and calls on WhatsApp and over the normal network no one answered or got back to us for 4 hours. It wasn't an emergency but does make me wonder what would have happened if it was and we couldn't get out the room to contact the desk.

The room was exactly as advertised, it was a beautiful room with gorgeous windows and lighting. The Samsung TV was easy to connect to, the bed was comfy and it was within walling distance of the city centre.

With it being an old building and very open plan, it did get a bit cold in some areas of the hotel. But it was a cold February night..!!!!

Brilliant location, the staff were fantastic and the food in the restaurant was fabulous. I would highly recommend this hotel.
