To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very modern and comfortable. Love the big windows in the room. The location was easy to walk to the stations and shops. The reception / bar area is really beautiful and relaxing to chill in.

I loved the decor down stairs and thought it was a lovely calm setting. It smelt fantastic which is always a nice touch!

United KingdomOne noticed the shower rail was loose from the ceiling, and there were damp patches on the bathroom ceiling as the paintwork was bubbling and falling off. But... easy remedied.
Loved the room the food, and the staff were amazingly generous considering I was quite bad tempered , again my sincere apologies.

United KingdomEven though I’d called and noted at reception about syncing up two bookings into one, this wasn’t passed to the room service and they walked in during our stay. The wait time for food and drink was a little longer than expected but each was resolved.
The hotel was designed perfectly and the interior was very chic, stylish and trendy. The room was beautiful and the facilities within the room were great too, including a great shower in the bathroom. I liked the option of a bar and dinner space, and the location was perfect for what we needed as it was so central.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, with an iron and board tucked away. The bed was very comfy and the location is perfect, an easy walk from Picadilly station and just a stones throw from St Peter's Square. Plus the price for a Friday night was excellent value.

United KingdomNeighbours directly above us had their Television on until late which was very laid when trying to sleep. Then moving of chairs on the hard floor in the early hours of the morning. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable and hard.
Beautiful aesthetic, clean and great food… staff were also very attentive at breakfast.
