It was quiet and relaxing but a little drive from Portree. We didn't mind being out away from town.

Rachel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. She provided some groceries for us also. Great host!

Everything! Beautiful place, comfy beds, small kitchen with pots and pans, bread and eggs bought for us that day and more options in case you didn't have enough time to go through the market. Rachael the owner made us feel super welcome ❤️

It is the perfect place to stay on Skye, central for hikes and visits. The room is calm, big yet super cozy and has everything you need ,decorated with great taste and Rachael’s warm welcome and great tips top it all! There is no better place than the Sabhal.

We loved it all

We loved everything about our stay at The Sabhal. The place had the intimate feel of visiting friends on their family farm. Rachael and Ally were very generous in allowing us access to their property and answering all of our questions. Lambs were born during our stay and we loved watching them follow their mums around. The lodging was well thought out and provided all our needs. We wished we could have stayed longer! We hope to return in the future.

The Sabhal is amazing! A must stay in the Isle of Skye. Location is great, close to everything, in the center of Skye. We were provided some breakfast foods as well, which was a pleasant surprise. The place was spotless, it felt like a luxury stay. 5-stars all around.

It was the best stay in my whole trip to Scotland. Location is very good, 10 minutes from the center of Portree. The house is big, comfortable and designed so beautifully. They thought of every detail to make you feel cozy and comfortable. Rachel filled the fridge with food and literally saved me the day I arrived. The shower room was also equipped with luxury shampoo and body wash. The room had a patio, that you can sit and watch the beautiful area. The owner was available to every request, but kept my privacy. There was a big TV with Netflix, a table inside with pillows , and the bed itself was the most comfortable I ever slept on. Just amazing experience.100% would come back again.

We loved everything about the property! Clean, very comfortable, very pretty and well appointed. It was nice to be able to cook a few meals. The shower and bed were excellent. Good location for day trips.

A tiny thing but it would have been great to have some kitchen roll as we used the kitchen quite a lot. Otherwise it was perfect!

A lovely little hideaway in a beautiful location. The bed was super comfy, shower was amazing and there were lots of little touches like tea, coffee and snacks - just what we needed after a long road trip. The location was great, easy to get to lots of different places around Skye - a short drive into Portree and to the fairy glen, and we enjoyed driving to the Edinbane Inn one evening for dinner which was about 10 mins away. I would highly recommend.

The room was separate from the house giving good privacy. Well appointed with everything you would need. Lovely eco toiletries and quirky branded tea/coffee facilities. Location was great to explore the island and Portree is close as is many lovely places to eat.
