The Mayfair was excellent to stay in. The place was clean, organized, and dog-friendly. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating to all of their guests. The location was amazing as it was accessible to all kinds of transportation. The view from the hotel was superb.

Fab location, comfortable beds and exceptionally friendly staff including delicious breakfast with choices of delicious fruits, yogurt and locally sourced cooked breakfast. Lovely homemade cakes everyday we will definitely return.

There was nothing that could have been better. It was perfect.

The Mayfair exceeded my expectations. It had been redone and is modern and extremely comfortable. It felt like being at home after a classy remodeling. The toiletries, linens etc were all high end. We had a choice of coffee, tea and homemade cakes during the day. Claire our host thought of everything. She even offered and did our laundry while we were there. She is an exceptional host. I would definitely recommend The Mayfair to my friends. Parking was no issue and we were able to get around easily. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice Thanks Claire.

I am very happy with choosing The Mayfair. The location is amazing, right by the seaside and my room benefited from this lovely view. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful and veggie breakfast was really delicious.

Clare was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. The room and facilities were perfect and as I travelled via train The Mayfair was literally 200m away from Weymouth station. I’m looking forward to returning next time with my partner.

Everything. Claire & Andrew were excellent hosts and nothing was too much for them. Spotless everywhere, excellent breakfast from a delicious cooked breakfast to a wide range of fruits & yoghurt, cereals & pastries. Also lovely homemade cakes readily available for when ever you want

The bathroom facilities were a slightly dated but this didn’t affect our stay significantly.

Great location close to town, got our room upgraded to a sea view, lovely. Nice breakfast and we helped ourselves to homemade cake on offer, great Victoria sponge. Host was really helpful and friendly.

Our host Claire was superb, fabulous facilities in the Mayfair, the breakfast is just sublime, great location right on the seafront. The sunrise from room 8 fabulous. Fully recommend.

Weather could have been a bit better as it was somewhat windy and wet for 2 days, but when the sun came out it was absolutely lovely. Also some of the seafront tea bars were closed for the winter or only open for a short while.

Excellent choice of breakfasts that you could help yourself, (cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt) too as well as Full English. Excellent service throughout our stay, with good hearted banter at breakfast. Short walk from train station (less than 5 mins). Our hosts also gave recommendations for places to visit for days out and places to eat.

There was nothing I didn't like! The booking.com rooms do not have sea views however which would have been nice to know at point of booking.

I had a great stay at the Mayfair, but the standout was the service and hospitality. The hosts could not do enough to help and were so welcoming.

Everything was perfect!

Andrew and Claire, the owners, were excellent since the beginning. After travelling all the way from London in a winter Sunday evening, I had a warm reception at the Mayfair front door. There were cakes and fruits, and Andrew even prepared me a delicious sandwich after learning that the nearby restaurants were already closed. The house is cozy and the rooms very confortable. I got an amazing sea view from the 2nd floor. The full English breakfast was superb!! Totally recommend this charming B&B.

The Mayfair is a lovely place to stay, the owners are very friendly and helpful, comfortable room with nice touches. A great breakfast and the lemon drizzle cake was a nice added bonus. We would highly recommend the Mayfair.

Even the January weather couldn't have been improved, except perhaps, by being 40 degrees warmer!

From the hundreds of accommodations we've stayed in this was by far the best small hotel. Andrew & Clare were exceptional hosts who couldn't do enough. The location is perfect for access to everything, The bedroom and bathroom were ultra clean and the breakfast choice was extraordinary. A really great three night stay. Thank you.

Really good location near the beach and train station. Fantastic hosts. The homemade banana cake is amazing and was even given some for the train home. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable Lounge with cake, chocolates and wine. Comfortable room with a nice view.
