The room was a bit small, very warm, even with the window open. Needed a fan or aircon. We paid a good price. Saw it cheaper since been. Wasn't a good view was placed at the back of building not sure if that was because had our dog. Was only one night so didn't make a fuss. And floors creeky but it is old building.

Location was really good. Having parking excellent. Breakfast was very nice, good choice of food.

We were on 3rd floor and had to climb 64 stairs every time we went to our room as lift broken. No outside seating area to enjoy a drink in the sun.

Unfortunately the lift wasn't working but they did apologize for that. There was a lot of noise from motorbikes driving along the seafront on Saturday night but again, not the fault of the hotel.

The view from the room over the Bristol channel was spectacular, especially watching the sun go down. The location was brilliant - near to everything including the Grand Pier and St James street that had some lovely restaurants. The shower was powerful and the bed comfortable. The bar area was nice, with friendly staff.

Some repairs needed around door frame and repainting in some areas but it is an old building and it doesn't affect overall service and experience. Maintainence I expect, is on going to keep the character of this grand hotel

Beautiful, grand, mainly unspoilt hotel. What a treat, so glad we stayed. Lovely buffet breakfast, dinner an option and the best Seaview Ive ever had in a room!

The lift wasn't working and we had to climb 8 sets of stairs to the 4th floor with luggage. Extra charges to park car £8 per day And the small dog was £15 per night .

The location was really good .allowed us to check in early which was really helpful . The staff was helpful and the breakfast was spot on with plenty of choices.

Fantastic room, great view. We were absolutely over the moon with our room, so happy when we opened the door and were treated to a superb sea view. I had not paid for a sea view but we were so happy when we found we had been allocated one. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Excellent breakfast , good choice of food, nicely cooked and piping hot. Staff very friendly throughout the hotel. Immaculately clean room. Comfy bed. Absolutely loved our stay, thank you.

Dated rooms that could do with a lick of paint but otherwise it was fine. As a place to rest your head it was great. Sadly the breakfast was awful! Nothing for children and the hot food was soggy and bland- sausages were cheap and grizzly. There was one pastry option and it was very undercooked. Pale and soggy. Cereal options were cornflakes, all bran and rice Krispies. It was the only real let down for us. I'd definitely recommend booking a room but avoid the breakfast. There are cafes very close by that will do better for cheaper. The lift was out of action but the hotel was great and did inform us of this prior to our visit but it was a pain having to tackle three flights of stairs. A lower level would have been appreciated.

Location was incredible with the best sea view and the staff were very kind and helpful. Parking was super cheap and happy to keep the car all day after check out too so for two days parking it was effectively £8. Fab value in my opinion.
