Seated dining area was small, felt cramped. If more than 4 sat in room at same time I’m sure it would have been a struggle.

Location was ideal. Free parking is always a bonus. Concept of breakfast was brilliant and wide selection of items offered. Additional fridge for 2 rooms included for personal items, excellent idea. Helen the host was friendly, accommodating and accessible.

The location is perfect . We had a sea view room which was lovely . Breakfast was continental , help yourself when you want to go for breakfast plenty of choice . Helen can not do enough for you a lovely lady and will be back

Lovely room with sea view and close to beach and restaurants. Hot drinks in the room and access to a very well equipped kitchen. Light breakfast provided but facilities to cook you own, ( lunch and dinner also if wanted). Parking was very convenient.

The shared kitchen is well organised and a very good idea, but it was not very clean: especially the oven.

It was close to the station, beach and restaurants. The seaview room was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpfull and friendly.

There isn’t anything I disliked about being here, it’s a shame we didn’t get chance to meet Helen as she seemed so lovely and was very accommodating ☺️

Our stay was amazing! My friend and I booked for a girly night away, the room was beautiful, it had a very 1920s Charlston sort of feel to it, I found out that the owner (Helen) decorated it on her own which is amazing! The Commodore is located very close to the tourist part of Paignton where all the arcades/gift shops etc are but it’s not too close that you hear all the noise, only about 3-4 minutes walk to that part. During our stay there was a fair with lots of rides ready for the fireworks display the next night. There is lots to do e.g shopping, arcades, mini golf, cinema, pubs and cafes - if you’re in to fast food like chippy, I’d recommend Scoff’s!

We loved being able to use kitchen facilities to prepare any food, help ourselves to breakfast when we wanted and come and go as we liked. It was everything that we wanted. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room also included a large sofa plus table and chairs. The view from the window over the bay was lovely.

I can’t think of anything!!

It’s at the quieter end of the Esplanade close to the harbour. As I can only take the dog to Fairy Cove it’s a short walk for my old dog! The room on ground floor, Isadora Duncan room, is fabulous decorated in a n Art Decco style which is gorgeous. Dining table in the bay window overlooking the sea it was amazing! Helen is so kind and helpful and the lovely cleaner was always checking if I needed anything. It was a fantastic stay.
