Excellent place , modern, with the view on the water and swimming swans. Excellent breakfast and even a few evenings with snacks and drinks for guests!!!

The bed seemed to drop a bit on the sides, almost catapulted me out of bed. Toilet paper wasnt very strong.

The location was great as i was looking for somewhere relaxed, away from the city and in a peaceful location. Despite the steel works opposite, the area is great and the hotel is efficient, especially for adult guests.

The room was large bright and clean, well equipped and well furnished. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were lovely - we had our large dog with us and they were very friendly and welcoming to us all. The location worked well for us - the hotel is on a large dock and the walk around the water was perfect for the dog: all pedestrianised and little wooded and lawned areas that were excellent for sniffing!

The breakfast selction was really good, although it does not stay warm on the hotplate. By the time you have self served your breakfast and got to a table it was cold.

The room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. There are lots of appliances in the room. Oven, dishwasher, fridge. It was like having a 1 bed flat.

It is not always possible to park because the car park serves this hotel and the Holiday Express Inn on the same site.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good location, great for the dockside area and not far from the city centre. Comfortable room.

Staff members were all very kind and nice. The location was perfect: quiet, by the dock, 20 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from Cardiff Bay - perfect for moving around on foot. The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty!

Everything was good so as the staff member except one thing , the building have one lift for guest which was bit frustrating at sometime as it’s very slow.

The location, layout and easy access to both side of the city . Equal walking to city centre and Cardiff bay .

Coffee was not good - there is a coffee machine you can help yourself too but the ‘latte’ option produces something that does not taste of any coffee at all! Best thing to do is go for an Americano if you need a coffee hit! Flush on the toilet is weak. It can easily flush away the offending items but struggles with even small amounts of toilet later.

I was really surprised how great this hotel was. I booked in a rush and it was so cheap I worried it might be a disappointment. How wrong I was! From the ample parking just outside, lovely, friendly and helpful staff, scrupulously clean and comfortable room and very tasty breakfast - the whole stay was fabulous and we’d definitely go back!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were buffet-style and pretty good. There are no evening meals at the hotel, though most nights, there are free socials with wine and nibbles. The bed in our suite was large and comfortable. The mini kitchen was useful. A one-stop shop is nearby.

Property was very clean and safe. Staff was superb! Very friendly and helpful. Katie (front desk agent ) is definitely a keeper, she goes over & beyond to make sure guests are happy . Breakfast was great , lots of selections.

Left my charger there and called to get it back. Haven’t had any returned any calls and seems to have been stolen. Disappointed as only just bought the new charger and cost £40
