The staff could be a bit more upbeat and interactive. Also I was made to wait at the gate for a considerable time even though a member of staff had seen me waiting at the gate on arrival. The breakfast offering was limited, it was not possible to just buy a coffee with a croissant. Breakfast on offer was continental, so costly for someone who doesn't do cereal or cheese or meat. I was woken up by someones mobile phone at 4.30 am, perhaps a notice of hostel etiquette should be on view.

Great location with easy access to public transport, food outlets, and Holland Park. Garden area.

There were three bathrooms so why clean all three at the same time? Ordered a pizza and waited ages for it (There was only me and two ladies ordering at the time), the base was rock hard. Although there were lockers in the room they weren't the biggest and could have been a bit bigger ( Although you did have the option of storing large cases in storage for £3 and item Although you had a power socket and usb ports by the bed there was no proper shelf, that would have been handy. I had the top bunk and a bit of padding on the bare metal step ladder would have been nice. Not the easiest of places to get to late at night, I'd come back late and had to walk all the way around the park after getting off at Holland Park Station. What is it with people, a guest comes in late at night (After midnight) and proceeds to turn on the main lights, does what they came in to do then walks out leaving the lights on!!

A quiet location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the place neat and tidy. The food choices seemed ok. Lockers in the room. Power socket by you bed.

As a return visitor, I love the location. A leisurely walk through Holland Park from High St Kensington. Price is great for international tourists who lose 50% in currency conversion. Safe & secure with their card passes. Staff are very helpful.

The bedroom was very basic, but I guess that you can’t have everything for that price in such an amazing location. To shower we had to hold the shower button, which was a bit inconvenient

The location! Right inside Holland park, next to the opera house and 5 mins walk to Kensington High street. The gardens are lovely and the staff are delightful. We were made to feel very welcome

The location, for the reasons I mentioned above. The mattress is an air mattress, so it makes a lot of noise at night. When I arrived in the room, there were no lockers available to store my backpack, so the next day I had to buy a padlock at the reception (4 pounds) to use an iron box under the beds to store my things. The bathroom was very dirty when I arrived, but the next morning it was very clean, I believe the staff had just cleaned it. The food vending machine wasn't working for card payments. The entry card we use to access the room cannot touch the phone because it "demagnetizes" and doesn't open the room door.

Location is both a positive and negative point at the same time. Positive because it's inside Holland Park, so besides being beautiful, the contact with nature is constant. Negative because I checked in during the early hours of the morning and walking on Holland Walk alone at 2 am is not pleasant at all. Just a tip for you if you're using public transportation late at night to get to the hostel. The garden is very beautiful, and the breakfast (costs around 8 pounds if I'm not mistaken) is also very good.

Its tricky, almost scary, to find to hotel at night. There isnt an obvious sign at the road etc. You have to keep walking until you start to lost your hopes completely. But don't stop! Keep walking, and hopefully, you'll be able to find it—or not... Also, they charge money if you want to leave your luggage in the safe room. If you dont, there isnt an elevator so you have to carry them.

My room was clean and nice, however, I was scared by other comments about bugs and mice.

Triple beds meant that it could be a bit trying if you had the wrong guests but overall people behaved well.

Hostel is not that clean, particularly toilets and shower rooms. As well as maintenance in terms of renovations etc was not taken care of. Many toilets and shower rooms were locked - out of service. It would also be nice to have a separate chilling leaving room to watch TV and read. The reception, TV and cafeteria were all mixed up in one room. Some people.also.put music on their lap tops without a head phone - this should not be permitted.

Location is perfect right in the middle of Holland Park. Old fashion building - however I was not put in a room there :( would love to try next time. The diversity of people staying there, friendly and relaxed vibe.

No kitchen for cooking. There were mouse running around in the lounge. But the staff said they already contacted the pest control. Hope it’s solved by now.

The shower was dangerously encrusted with black mold and mildew with a really strong smell; I didn't shower. Really dirty common area with food crumbs everywhere and dirty tables. No lifts.

The shower and toilets were small. In the shower you could feel the pipes etc under your feet. You had to also hold the button in to shower.

The bed had curtains around it and the food provided in the lounge area was satisfactory. The beds had power supply.
