Hot water wasn't very hot and tap in bathroom didn't work properly

Bar was a little meh but I think most ppl used the hotel to just lay their head, have breakfast and leave.

Our room was small but functional. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great but over priced if you just want a bowl of cereal.

The single room was almost the same price as the double and half the size bit was very uncomfortable for a 5 night stay. There were bigger rooms empty during our stay so why use such a small one?

We booked 2 rooms. One was ok. The other was tiny. It was for 5 nights and no room to unpack. Very disappointing.

It’s a studio with kitchenette but no washing up liquid/ scourer/teatowel. In the Kitchen area broken extractor fan. Window locks need work.

Nice location, parking, not far from motorway. Bathroom nice. Beds comfortable. Good value for money. Mini kitchen. On site bar.

The hotel is a bit rambling spread over several buildings and there's a fair bit of construction work going on. Room is not cleaned during your stay unless you request it

Paintwork in common areas and windows needs re-doing and external areas are scruffy and need attention. This is rather off-putting on arrival.

Comfortable bed, very clean and quiet room and a good shower. Microwave, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities were in the room which was useful as we were staying for a few days. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Reasonably priced bar meals were also available. Free parking on-site was available which seems to be unusual in Reading so this was a real deal-maker for us.

The room was very warm and although a fan was provided the windows didn't stay up and so it was difficult to get fresh air in.

Very reasonably priced, in a nice setting that is straightforward to get to from the town centre. Having a three-person room option, with three separate beds is handy and not available at many places.

The one thing I wasn’t so happy about is the detergent used on the linens,a very strong perfume,which I’m sensitive to,so would have preferred non perfumed.

The property had character, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful,and good touches like having a microwave and fridge in the room.

Was ground floor which I asked for but as the windows are sash windows I could not sleep with them open for security reasons. Nice room and as I expected.

Staying in another building so far from the hotel was simply annoying. The signage in the hotel is poor as well. I could not find my way back to my car from Reception and ended up walking around the building instead.

After finding the car park, I had to search for reception. When I got there the greeting was great and I was efficiently checked in. That's when it became a problem. I was walked along the street for some distance to another building which I really wasn't expecting. Now my car was in one place and I was in another. The decor in the room had seen better days, although it was clean.

The fridge in the room kept running so I switched it off.

It would be better if it was a king size bed the bed was a bit small we we're looking for a disabled facilities which they did not have needed a bar to hold on to in the shower shells for toiletries in the shower would help
