Room very dated. Had a leak in the roof and water dripping on our clothes. Reported it maintenance just changed the tile and during the night leak happened again

The pillows need replacing! I have a slightly painful neck and softer pillows would have been helpful. They all seemed rather tired & well used.

The TV was very dated and the reception was poor, as it froze every few minutes. The curtains didn't close fully, so we were woken up very early as soon as it was light. There was a very loud noise from outside the window, like a generator, possibly the hotel's running very loudly from about 5 am until 10 am.

The room and particularly the bathroom was very clean. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was great.

I would have preferred a double or queen bed not a single it's been a long time since I've seen a single bed.and a bath in the bathroom, but the shower room was beautiful I wish mine at home was like that a really powerful fantastic shower.

The staff were very friendly and helpful .the shower and the breakfast was great and lots of it. It's near the town and a lovely little town fareham. Parking onsite.

Bathrooms are outdated but v clean. Breakfast, poor choice for non cooked breakfast.

Breakfast adequate but service slightly slow and some confusion by staff on delivery.

Experienced a warm reception and found room very clean and comfortable. I had been told rooms can be noisy but did not experience this. Very nice crisp bed linen.

The pillows were a bit hard and thin and the duvet was squashed into a cover which seemed a bit small which bunched up the duvet and made it too hot on the bed. The breakfast coffee was not hot enough. One of the curtains would not open.

Lovely breakfast selection and excellent dining room presentation and service. The background music in the dining room was lovely. Excellent lighting in the bedroom.

Coffee at breakfast was weak and tasteless, and the coffee pot could have been warmer as the coffee itself was barely warm enough to drink. The instant coffee in the room was a better option. In the room (23), the bedding and towels were clean but had seen better days, and the duvet was too small for a double bed. The TV remote needs to be changed as it was almost impossible to scroll down the channels; scrolling up was OK. Table at breakfast full of too much stuff. I sat at a 2-seater and there was barely space for me and my food/drink. Dread to think how 2 people would manage. Could do with a re-think on what is placed on a table.

Breakfast was well cooked, hot and appetising. Room (at the back) was nice and quiet. Room rates significantly better at Lysses than at comparable pubs and inns around the area. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Having free parking on site is an advantage over other sites.
