Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomExpensive but I guess average for location. Breakfast was poor, half the items had run out and weren’t replenished whilst we waited, having been told someone was just bringing them out.
Great location, so handy for the O2.

United KingdomI had the most disappointing breakfast experience. The orange juice tasted nothing like actual orange juice, and while the apple juice was better, it still didn't make up for it. The full English breakfast I had didn't even come with fried or scrambled eggs, which was a letdown. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn't enjoy it, so unfortunately, I ended up wasting the food. I'm disappointed because I had to find a different place to have breakfast. :(
The staycation for one night was really enjoyable and I had a restful sleep. The staff warmly welcomed me and made sure we had children's bedding, which was a very thoughtful and considerate service. Despite our late arrival at midnight, the reception was incredibly patient and accommodating. Overall, it was a great short staycation. However, it's worth noting that the location is quite far from the center of London if you're traveling by car. Additionally, the car park costs £25 per day, and if you're bringing along a friendly pet, there's an additional charge of £25 per night.

United KingdomAs a family we always struggle with the comfort of the sofa beds at Holiday Inn Express hotels. The mattress is terrible and offers no support at all. The kids always sleep terribly. Somehow the end of the bed always feels like there is no mattress there. Please sort this across your hotels holiday in express!!!
Holiday Inn Express express is always a great place to stay no matter what city you're visiting. The staff are always super-helpful, it's always clean, and the breakfast is great. Location was great - 10 minutes walk to the O2

United States of AmericaThe location was not terribly convenient but neither was it terribly inconvenient, about a 17 minute walk to the tube station. There’s also a bus if so inclined. Nice staff, nice room, I’d stay again.

United KingdomI have to say my husband and I were a little disappointed with the breakfast. Having stayed in a few IHG hotels across the country/world, the breakfast was very limited. I am vegetarian so options were very low. Cooked breakfast there could of been more option/choice. Bacon/sausage, scrambled eggs and beans isn't great. The cold options were ok. The coffee and orange juice were not the best either. No taste to the orange 'juice' and the coffee tasted like powder. Our room.we stayed in, unfortunately had a pungent smell coming from the toilet, when we first arrived, maybe that's why the window was open? Didn't report it as we arrived, dropped our stuff off and went straight out to a concert. Which was Amazing. The other issue was the Air con, it was quite noisy. Would we stay again, probably when we have concerts to go to at the O2 but I wouldn't otherwise. Very expensive for one night and got what you get.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really couldn't fault them. Accommodating and in general great.
