No elevator. I had a heavy suitcase... I had a kettle and cups in the room but no coffee and tea.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly

The only thing I didn't like was the half frosted door for the bathroom, with the stairs down, you were able to see through from laying in bed, straight to the toilet, which some may not be fussed about, but I wasn't too keen on watching my partner, or being watched by my partner while we were using the toilet!

We stayed on a Saturday night, in the Grand National room. The room was large and had all the amenities you needed. The staff were really really friendly and took the time to explain everything such as the bar/tea room, and provided us with a list of recommendations for restaurants. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was a great size. We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on the food, but it looked very good! Nice selection of tea/coffee and refreshments.

The room was very bright early mornings due to a door with a paper style blind. A curtain would be good as I found myself awake at 5.30 am

I requested a downstairs room with walk in shower due to disability both over the phone & as a special request. We were given a first floor room & although the bathroom had a walk in shower in it, it was accessed by steps with no hand rail. Was told they were fully booked & couldn’t change the room. After going back to the car, the receptionist stopped me & said that they could change it to a downstairs room with shower after all, which we accepted.

Breakfast was freshly cooked. Good choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries & cereal to start off with. Staff were very friendly.

We wanted to have a drink at the bar one evening . It says that the bar is open until 10pm. We arrived home at 9.45 and rang the bell at reception but the staff Had clearly gone home as no one came to assist us . This was slightly frustrating.

It is a beautiful building and the room Was very comfortable and relaxing. The bar area and garden was also very lovely

We arrived late after flying back to Bournemouth, The check-in was really easy, key was left in a safe. The was was beautiful, very clean and a very high standard of decor. We had a lovely comfortable bed, wish we could of stayed longer

I booked this for my parents as they were coming down to stay whilst I was in hospital locally having surgery. My parents can be quite fussy but they were honestly blown away and couldn't stop raving about this place for days afterwards. Said it was impeccably clean, super comfortable beds (again, they're usually very fussy here!!), homely, bathrooms were outstanding, that the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was sublime. They loved the decor too - not their usual taste but they couldn't stop talking about how 'cool' it was!! They have insisted that they will be coming to stay here again whenever they come to visit, so a real gem of a find as it's only 5 minutes from my flat too. So glad I booked them in here!! Thank you so much for looking after them ☺️

Nothing really, it a bit of a walk into town, fine for us but it is a fair walk.

Staff all very nice, very easy to book in and out, reasonably priced drinks in the bar, free parking. Room was lovely and spacious, breakfast was delicious. Very quiet area so peaceful at night, no noise.

Surprised to see a child at breakfast as advertised as adult only. Wasn’t really an issue but did choose an ‘adult only hotel’
