A 20 min walk to Old Town, which was exciting at first, but then we discovered how convenient the metro is just around the corner.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Little perks on welcome, like fresh fruit, water, wine in room, free drink on rooftop bar! Such an extensive breakfast buffet!

I couldn't change the TV language to English.

Tatiana gave me an early check in, a free breakfast, a free drink at the bar and a bottle of wine and fruit in the room which had a terrace and a great view. I also got a free drink in the adjoining restaurant which was a great choice for a rainy day. Watch out for the Czech Inn Hotel sign as Wencelas Hotel branding is very small. I walked by it twice.

The car park was a challenge but Tatiana had faith in my ability to manouvre my car through the gap.

Tatiana was the most welcoming and delightful person who made our stay very special. She went above and beyond to help and guide us during our brief stay in Prague. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel based on our stay and the wonderful staff but particularly Tatiana.

I’m really hesitating to mention it here because for us it absolutely wasn’t any problem at all, but due to the splendid architecture of the hotel in two adjacent imperial houses, be prepared to walk some steps in addition to the lift. This of course depends where your room is located.

We absolutely recommend this place! The location is just ideally situated, right around the corner of Wenceslas Square. Metro Station of Lines A and C (Muzeum) is only a two minutes walk. Our room was very quiet with a stunning view over the city to the castle. Cool modern bathroom with glass walls. The hotel features a stunning view rooftop terrace bar and a very good and entertaining bar-keeper. In the morning, you will find a dream of a breakfast buffet with a perfect continental and even full English breakfast. It features a lot of home-made salads and sweets. Full range of bread, muesli, cakes, sausages, ham, cheese… The staff, lovely Tatiana and her colleagues, are very friendly and eager to help at any time. A very charming hotel with a lovely mixture of old imperial style building and very modern interior.

I think the shower could have been more updated, is quite a basic shower. But this is a minor complaint. Also, a larger TV would have been good but again this was not a major concern for me. Not much I didn't like about the hotel for the price.

This Hotel exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed my stay very much. Great location and amazing views from my window and from the rooftop bar/cafe. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Paul from reception, was very professional and welcoming and had good recommendations for places to eat etc. Also, the waiter at the rooftop cafe/bar but I did not get his name unfortunately. I would definitely stay here again and probably will in the future! Thanks!

Great hotel in a perfect location. So nice staff, very helpful, very good breakfast and amazing view from the terrase on the roof of the building. Dont forget to have a drink there during sunset. We were traveling in a group of six people, and everybody was happy to be there.

It has a lot of potential. Booking advertises it as rooms for 250 euros per night or more, but always with discounts of 60-70%. If you expect a room for 100-125 euros, it's perfect. Just manage your expectations and don't believe the booking prices. Especially the reception personnel were excellent and so welcoming and friendly! The room was big, but had some things to be desired. If the owners would invest a little, this could be a 5-star hotel easily at the best location in town! It does require a thorough make-over, though. Hope they will improve.

Numerous stairs and somewhat complex layout of rooms.

Desk staff was very helpful and attentive. Tatiana, Natasha and Peter assisted with any and every request. They offered excellent dining selections and interesting sites to visit. Also most helpful with directions.

Shame that no foods were available beyond breakfast. Maybe top floor balcony could have offered a few pastries, cakes, or something.. Although it must be said there was a cafe next door, and McDonalds down the street... No tea or coffee making in the room either...

Had a big room on ground floor, which was very nice! Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Unlimited breakfast foods available. Top floor balcony was an excellent idea, and nice gentleman running it.
