Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe first night on our arrival the gave us a room with no view, it was a room from the entrance side, just looking at the bushes and street. But the next day the switched it for another one with a view on the city side. Really grateful.
Breakfast is really too big for all of the needs. Variety of choices and the staff is very kind. Beautiful view from the side of the boat to the famous Vyšehrad castle. The river does not smell, a lot of seagulls and ducks are passing by. Sometimes even the swans come by. The area is quiet at night, and next to the place is Mcdonald's and the Italian store with wines, cheese, and a bakery from Italy, really a diamond for the people who love that kind of thing. They are pricey though. There are a small shops as well nearby, like dm, but not a big supermarket. The city is just across the bridge nearby, 15 mins of walk. Or you can take the city transport - tram, the bus is all in the nearby area of the boat - hotel.

GermanyOlder property in need of some maintenance. Very small bathrooms. Had a hard time keeping room cool due to solar warming, minimal window coverings and older single glass windows. To be fair it was 96 and 99 degrees F on days we visited.
Good option for family trip to Prague.

MoldovaStaff not speaking English at all. (may be we just were unlucky). Toilet and bathroom are too small. The smell from the river is not always nice. It feels little like swamp.
This is a botel , so the rooms do not have normal height, but still very comfy. It is on a river so there are mosqitoes. We had to sleep with closed windows, it is gooed there was air conditioner. The botel itself is a nice place to stay. View from the top deck is charming. Breakfast was very good.

GermanyThe room is very basic. I don't need any fancy stuff like a TV, but given the temperatures of 30°C, a little fridge would have been nice. My room was on the street side, so I could only see bushes, and some insects joined me in bed when I kept the window wide open in the evening.
Very good location close to the metro, tram, and even a small train station. Very good breakfast with a beautiful view on Vltava and Vyšehrad. Comfortable and calm room with good WiFi.

RomaniaRoom had a the ceiling quite low - I'm 1,80m and still had to be attentive to avoid hitting the ceiling when changing clothes. The bathroom a bit crammed but usable, some better sound insulation would be appropriate. BUT hey, it's a boat cabin, in the end - some conditions have to be assumed! :-) I would have enjoyed the restaurant on the open deck atop the boat - but it was closed during our accomodation, pitifully...
Excellent location, nearby Smichov station (Metro, as well!). Awesome mattresses on the beds, lot of electric plugs for all the needs. Very lightful cabin, with many windows. Breakfast was one of the best we got lately: very fresh and diverse food, from bakery and bacon, to omlette and fryed eggs, then cheese (lot of choices!) and fresh fruits - even with a chocolate fountain! Many small restaurants and pubs with nice open terraces in the area, some shops where you can buy small things you may need for the travel; even a gas station for late night shopping, if the case.

NorwayPoor soundproofing, so anyone talking in the hallway could be heard. Vacuum cleaning of nearby room could ble heard loudly and made a disturbance in the morning. Bathroom was small. The cleaning personell left a window open in the room, and I had to get rid of insects inside the room. I asked for a room on the water side, but was given a room on the land side.
It was fun staying at this botel. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Excellent breakfast. Good value for the money.
