To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaAccess from garage to hotel was not handicapped accessible. Must drag suitcases etc. up about 10 stairs. Lobby was unfurnished and draped with drop clothes. Painters were working through the night. Jack hammers started hammering at 7 am on adjacent construction site. Room was very dusty and bathroom was very outdated. No room service regularly.
Location was close to Granville Island which was great. Parking was directly under hotel and easy to access.

The room was ok but when booking in I had booked 2 rooms and then only had one room on there list.the young fellow at the front desk was very helpful and found another room for us I had booked through Booking .com

AustraliaThe Grand Park Hotel was clean, tidy and in a very central location. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were large and comfortable but the room had minimal facilities - coffee only with disposal cups. Overall, we were very surprised with how expensive accommodation is in Vancouver for the amenities received. However based on the average prices of these hotels, the Grand Park Hotel was in line with expectation.

AustraliaThe lift door got stuck a few times. Probably because they are doing renovations to upgrade. You could still get out of the lift by pushing sliding the door across so it wasn't a concern and there's two lifts.
The staff were very helpful, front desk staff allowed us a very early check in as I have disabilities and we'd just disembarked the Royal Princess cruise ship (sailed from Yokohama, Alaska to Vancouver 3wks) and I was very tired. Juno the maintenance man was very efficient and helpful when we lost power in the room due to an electrical outlet triggered the safety switch. Front desk organised maintenance and housekeeping immediately. The White Spot restaurant in the building was very good and convenient. The Queen's Feet massage clinic next to the 7-Eleven store across the street was awesome!!! Reasonable priced massage. Coleen did a very relaxing reflexology and full body massage. I must return before my flight. Convenient for downtown shops and transport.

Very good location for our needs and it had a parking garage. Rooms were specious. Had a microwave. Walking distance from the boardwalk and Granville island.

The staff were wonderful. They were really kind and helpful on reception. Although basic, the hotel was clean and tidy. The gym was also great.

Overnight stay prior to a cruise, the location of the hotel was a short Uber ride from both the train station upon arrival and cruise terminal for departure. Room was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

CanadaConstruction in the area and in front lobby. Be mentally prepared for the drug issues and homelessness in Vancouver-definite hardships amongst the natural beauty of the city. Had to walk to other hotel locations for tour picks due to local construction.
Renovations in front lobby the whole trip-should be quite nice in a couple of weeks. Great location to Yaletown and ferry taxis to Granville Island. Loved going to Hornby Starbucks prior to my walk along the seawall. Close to beaches. City very clean. Access to community bikes very close by.
