The only inconvenience we experienced was the fact that the shower did not have separate door. Luckily the toilet room did! But even with that, one of us was immediately woken up if another was using the sink or the bathroom. A little too close for comfort, we thought…

The property is conveniently located right in the heart of Old Quebec! It is a great value for the price we paid! It is small but has a cute rooftop terrace with the view of Frontenac.

Location and the pricing

Location is great just near Fairmont De Chateu Frontenec. The location is superb. All of the old Quebec locations are nearly the property.

We did not really like to breakfast. There wasn't much. Also it is at the top of the hill so one has to walk up and up and up!

No parking, but that was expected due to location. Rooms were very warm during our stay as the weather was nicer than expected and staff could not switch AC on. Almost 80 degrees at night was uncomfortable.

The room was too small. I didn't like that the wash basin was right beside the bed. So were the trash cans. No view from window. AC was not working. The room was too hot.

Too much actually: - no breakfast (or only at 8:30, which is rather brunch) - smelly appliances spreading chemical smells in gym and spa =, causing nausea. - tv too bad a remote to make it work. The google casting actually never showed up. (sorry neighours, I linked to your tv).

Short staffed/not many guests so they didn’t have house-keeping to clean the rooms every day, you had to request the service. Breakfast could definitely be better. It was just plain pancakes, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, fruit, and cereal. The entrance to the hotel is tricky as the steps are quite steep and the door opens outwards, it was a struggle with luggage or shopping bags in the cold weather. Also the front door could use a door mat right in front of it on the inside as the floor is very slippery in the winter when walking in.

Great location by Chateau Frontenac, close to Le Petit Champlain, everything i needed within walking distance (it is on top of a hill though). Amazing staff, so nice, very accommodating, speak both French and English. Clean room, dining room. Loved the lounge/dining area, very stylish and comfortable. It was very quiet which was great, not a lot of guests but maybe it was just low season. Love the free coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Nice big fridge in the room. The room was very stylish and a good size.

Although the room had all the amenities, it was a bit compact.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hôtel Manoir Vieux-Québec. The location was prefect, just right behind hotel Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and was walking distance to everywhere! It's also sitting on the top of the mountain so we really loved it. The hotel is very well maintained. All the appliances are new and bedsheet was clean. The staff was great and honestly we did not run into many other guests during our stay. Because of my work, I also remote worked and I had no issue with WiFi. Overall, great experience and we would absolutely come back here!

I booked a basic room and the window looked out into an alley. If you care about a view, pay for the view! I still think it was a good value for the price.

Great location on the quieter side of town. Easily walkable to the sights, but nice and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. The front desk staff were helpful, happily switched between English and French as needed, and supplied any extras needed for the room. The room was clean and modern, and the rooftop terrace offered nice views. Though the breakfast restaurant was closed, they offered discounts at a dew restaurants around town.

Central most activities and points of interest. Gréât staff who genuinely care. Killer rooftop settings, fantastic spa after walking up and down the hills .

Had to carry my luggage up 10 steps to the entry door and the front door opens out and there is no landing at the top of the steps. It was hard getting our luggage in and out.

Ummm....If I have to pick up one,,The stairs at the entrance are kind of narrow and steep..but it was not so bothersome.

The location was perfect and the room and facilitieals are all clean. I had a late check in, but the hotel gave the late check in information in advance, there was no problem.

A breakfast option would have been convenient. The pillows were mediocre. The towels were average quality.

Three sisters were traveling together and the “apartment” of Room 03 offered the perfect combination of togetherness yet separate areas for sleeping. The Murphy beds were surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and the kitchen area was well stocked.
