To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThe concierge had to be reminded after an hour to bring our luggage to the room. The room was looking dated, it was missing some net curtains and the tv no longer offered movies etc, also whilst I can mirror from my phone to my home Samsung tv’s this was not possible in the hotel. When I asked for a bucket of ice in the room I was informed by reception that I would be charged $5 but if I waited and took it up myself it would be free, when I am paying over $500 a night for a suite I find this difficult to understand

AustraliaThe King size bed mattress was comfortable, but every time my partner moved or rolled over I felt it a lot. I'm not sure if this was because they put two beds together perhaps.
wonderful view of the storey bridge. We also enjoyed room service with lovely singaporean food and a bottle of wine from the mini bar that was fantastic.

AustraliaOur bed seemed to have a lean in the mattress causing a little discomfort. The air con/fan was noisy, and the smoke alarm light above the bed was flashing causing disturbed sleep for my light sleeping husband.
The room and ensuite bathroom was spacious with a luxurious feel. The buffet breakfast was amazing. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location close to the beautiful botanical garden. Our room seemed have been cleaned to a high standard. Also the staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

AustraliaMore attention needs to be placed on at least on some basic Gluten free products. No alcohol wine. Surprising that such an excellent hotel had few of these products.
I had a room which overlooked the Bridge and down the river. Superb views. Room large, extremely clean and just very pleasant. This room and its facilities was 10/10. I will always stay at the Stamford when visiting Brisbane.
