To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThe bath had a bath plug that was tricky to operate. My partner almost cut their finger off trying to dislodge the plug. Perhaps a differently designed plug would be better. Also the big TV in the bedroom didn't have captions enabled despite our efforts to engage the staff to press the buttons to unlock the subtitle feature on the TV as we are Deaf customers and need access to captions.
Clean, spacious rooms to our liking. My partner in particular liked the roomy bath in the bathroom with its own TV which was captioned, what a perfect experience of relaxing in the bath and watching the TV at the same time!

AustraliaMy only complaint relates to only having one coffee machine at the Breakfast Restaurant. First world problems! One machine was not enough and it meant longer than necessary queues. Staff also had to regularly top up the milk etc just to keep up with demand which added further to time spent in queues. As a minimum, I would recommend an extra coffee machine or better still that the coffee order be taken and served by a waiter/waitress if possible.
We liked the Room, the beautiful view, the room service & the comfort of the beds and seating. On check in we were apparently upgraded to a better room which was appreciated.

Location was great - on the river and next to the botanical gardens. Easy to walk into the city. Nice room, comfy bed. The pool was nice and the gym was good

AustraliaI was disappointed with the venue for breakfast. Whilst it had a lovely position overlooking the river the grill was not in keeping with the style of the hotel & was a bit tired looking. Unfortunately the bed was very soft & saggy. I did not have a comfortable nights sleep.
The property was in the perfect location to showcase Brisbane, in all its sun shining glory, to our friends who were visiting from Scotland. The staff were professional & helpful & welcoming.

AustraliaDusting of bedside tables and surfaces not up to standard and dusting under television hasn’t been done for a long time. Tea bags and milk not replenished on any day had to call housekeeping each time. Not enough banana lounges around the pool and the 5 that are there are well worn with rusty feet. Nasi goreng and curry puffs were very dry.
