I recently visited Villa Formosa Hotel on Bohol Island in the Philippines and I'd like to share my wonderful experience. I particularly want to highlight the hotel staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a feeling as if we were in our second home. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and surrounded by a lovely garden, with a fantastic pool. The restaurant offered excellent food, comparable to that of a good European restaurant. Additionally, the staff took care to ensure that during our longer stay, breakfast wouldn't become monotonous, and they were ready to offer variations from the usual menu. Overall, the time spent at Villa Formosa Hotel was extremely enjoyable, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy retreat on Bohol Island. A big thank you to the entire team for this memorable experience!

Tyner's Place está en Panglao, a 7 min a pie de Playa de Dumaluan, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. La tranquilidad del lugar, llegamos para terminar nuestras vacaciones de manera relajada y eso es lo que encuentras! La habitación es una cabaña separada, no escuchas a los vecinos, solo la naturaleza. La piscina está súper bien mantenida y muy limpia! La habitación estaba bien equipada, con un bidón de agua, lo que nunca tuvimos en nuestra estancia en Filipinas! La ubicación es perfecta si tienes una scooter.

Alona WhiteHouses Resort se encuentra en Panglao, a 19 min a pie de Alona Beach, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. I love this place! It’s very peaceful and has incredibly friendly customer service. It offers great value for such a wonderful location. I will definitely come back again. Thank you!

OHANA, Panglao Resort. Se encuentra en Panglao, a 2,3 km de Alona Beach, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. There is customer service and then there is Philipino customer service which is on a whole other level. The staff at Ohana treated my family soo wonderfully, I cannot reccomend this place highly enough. We are a family with young kids who love exploring countries and places. Ohana is located minutes from the airport in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel arranged pick up which was on time. The room and bathroom are generously sized with a powerful air condition. They offer tours and meals. We like to have a flexible itinerary especially with kids so we did not do set group tours rather we opted for a driver that would tailor an itinerary to our likeness and it could be private and go at our pace. Alona beach is about 7 minutes away and Ohana have a shuttle that takes you to and from. Alona is a very busy and vibesy area with loads of restaurants, supermarkets and atms etc. There is a an atm located just at the end of the road from Ohana. I have to admit Alona never interested me, instead I found Ohana an excellent base for really exploring the island. We were there 3 days. We visited twin falls and dam agan falls the first day. Beautiful drive in lush countryside. Both falls easily accessible with young children and 2 guides who played with them. 2nd day we visited Anda, Candijay and the Can Unmantad waterfalls and rice terraces. Although about 2 to 3 hours driving, it was extremely scenic and we stopped off at little bakeries and coffee shops along the way. Last day we did the famous chocolate hills on atv, visited the tarsiers, loboc small boat tour. Every single activity loved by the kids. They could not wait to return to Ohana to get in the pool though. We only had dinner one day at Ohana as every day the kids wanted Jolibees which was in Alona main town. The food at Ohana was extremely good, hot fresh and very tasty. Breakfast was not included as part of the room booking but again it was available if you wanted to purchase.

Modala Beach Resort se encuentra en Panglao, a 6 km de Cueva Hinagdanan, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y jardín. Wow! This resort was amazing and perfect for our family with two small children. Personally, my experience of this place was of a five-star resort because of the amenities, the views, the room and the customer service. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The pool was so great that we did not spend much time at the beach despite the beach being only a 1 minute walk from the resort. The pool area also had a kids section and a spa. Some features worth mentioning are: - we were in room 304 which had a perfect view of the pool and beach. - thick double glazed windows meant that we couldn't hear much of the pool noise. - A great breakfast buffet spread. Offerings of traditional filipino dishes and non-filipino dishes - Great resort restauarant. The menu identified which meals had gluten, meat, etc. - a nearby quiet beach which is much less crowded than Alona beach. - daily room clean available. - in house laundry available, but pricey. There is a local laundry near the 7eleven which is so much cheaper, and they provide same day service. - airport pickup and drop off available for a fee. - life guards at the pool. - food and drinks service available at the pool. - complimentary pool towels available. - Queen beds are super comfortable. - there are a handful of near by restaurants within the Moadto complex. - nearby 7eleven to get bottled water chocolates, etc. - ATM available. - the fireworks during NYE was very impressive

North Zen Villas está en Panglao, a 2 min a pie de Playa de Doljo, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Pasamos dos días geniales en North Zen Villas. El personal era super amable y gestionaron todas nuestras peticiones a la perfección. No pudimos estar mejor y eso que un día no paró de llover. La habitación es amplia y las camas grandes. La terraza aunque es pequeña está genial y el baño es grande. Estuvimos genial, lo recomendamos.

El Island World Panglao está situado en Panglao, a 800 metros de la playa de Alona. Very kindly staffs in there(also Boss :)) And nice view, pool .... everything is perfect! It's takes 17min to Alona Beach, but they have Suttle.

Portofino Panglao Bohol está en Panglao, a 10 km de Cueva Hinagdanan, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y bar. The staff was amazing and the adress,which is 5minutes by scooter from Alona is more advantage than disadvantage,trust me,you dont want to stay at alona during night,because of traffic and noise!

El HIGALA Resort ofrece piscina al aire libre, jardín, bar y salón compartido en Panglao. Este complejo de 3 estrellas ofrece conexión WiFi gratuita, cocina compartida y servicio de aparcacoches. We had a pleasant stay at Higala resort. Our room is simple but spacious, great for one week stay. We got tasty breakfast daily too, and the swimming pool is definitely the highlight.
