Situated in Nottingham Road, 13 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, Fordoun Hotel and Spa features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We went for a family wedding and most of the wedding party stayed in Fordoun's various accommodations (the self catering, the hotel rooms and the extra special rooms 19 - 23). The setting is very special - converted stone farm sheds, several dams, huge trees that actually do autumn. Staff were incredibly friendly and flexible eg staying up after 11 to give us hot chocolate in front of the fire. As a wedding venue it is ideal - we had a serious cricket match at the proper pitch in front of the reception hall, a great way to bring a large group together the day before the wedding. The chapel had views onto the mountains. A very lovely space to walk around day or night.

The place was amazing! The staff was super! Food superb especially breakfast! The linen, wanted to sleep forever. The brewery!!!

Situated within 12 km from Mooi River, surrounded by meadows, Midlands Saddle and Trout offers an array of activities from fishing, mini golf and horse riding. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nottingham Road Hotel is a historical landmark known as Notties by many generations of locals. It is situated in the village of Nottingham Road, in the heart of the Midlands Meander. What a fantastic place to stay over. Love the old world pub still as good as years ago when we visited. Cosy atmosphere with locals and guests relaxing over a beer !! Rooms refurbished very nicely. Grounds excellent. Most of all - the staff are fantastic very friendly welcoming and helpful. Particularly Debbie, Happy and Tyrone. They went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable even though having to look after our little puppy over meals. Reception was quick and fast and the room was ready even though we were early !! Dog-friendly a big bonus. Will definitely stay there again soon.

Set just 18 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, 3 Rawdons Estate offers accommodation in Nottingham Road with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a housekeeping service. I loved the cleanliness and neatness. The electric blankets and fire wood were a wonderful addition even though we did not need it. The apartment is within walking distance to the nearby restaurant.

2 Rawdons Country Estate, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is situated in Nottingham Road, 17 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, 38 km from Midmar Dam, as well as 38 km from Howick Museum.... Almost everything about the place was excellent.

The Courtyard at La Loggia is located in Nottingham Road, 12 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, 25 km from Fort Nottingham Museum, as well as 32 km from Midmar Dam. Couldn't fault this beautiful place, Andrew was so welcoming on arrival, his hospitality was second to none. Absolutely loved hearing of the local area and recommendations of where to visit and they didn't disappoint. The rooms are located in a beautiful courtyard with the most homely vibes, we settled into our stay within minutes. The pictures of this beautiful place do not do it any justice. Highly recommend staying here

Located 22 km from Fort Nottingham Museum, Giant's View Village offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Very neat and comfy place. Views are amazing

Situated in Nottingham Road and only 21 km from Fort Nottingham Museum, Springvale Farm features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very spacious farm style with plush finishings made us feel more than comfortable with an impressive mix of rustic and modern classy deco, crockery and glassware. Nice personal touches - fresh milk, butter, farm baked bread, rusks etc for an extra welcome. The hot tub is a really fun event for all, even in the middle of winter. Very conveniently located along the meander yet also very authentic farm stay.
