A fantastic hotel. Modern with good facilities, great rooms and fantastic views of the Mekong. At the same time maintains a lovely character which feels very fitting for its Mekong/Indochina location. My favourite accommodation so far on this trip - I wish I had stayed for more than 1 night. If you do stay - I recommend visiting the fantastic Phu Manorom. The temple has now been constructed and is lovely - as are the views. The hotel can arrange a samlor or taxi (which you can ask to bring you back too).

Located in Mukdahan, 4.3 miles from Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge 2, Bird Day Boutique Hotel provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The staff are very polite and welcoming. The room was a very nice size, very clean & the big bed, very very comfortable. Everything in the room worked fine without and problems including the mini refrigerator. Riverfront Hotel Mukdahan is located next to Mekong River. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi. Great location, the room was very nice and clean, the beds were comfertable. The breakfast is on the top floor with a great veiw of the river. There is a large market next to the hotel and a few small restaurants nearby so easy to get food and drink. I would stay here again.
