The staff of the hotel is AMAZING - one of our group had a birthday during our stay and the staff surprised us with a cake and candles - it was really special. The person at reception, the manager of the hotel, the bartender (amazing cocktails) and all of the waiters were fabulous - so friendly and sooooo nice! This is really a gem in Koh Samui and if you’re wondering to book it - search no more and go ahead, you won’t be disappointed. Also, if you’re lucky in the morning you can hear the elephants from the nearby sanctuary.

We loved our stay at Thai Fight Hotel. The staff made us feel immediately welcome and were fabulous throughout our stay. The view from the hotel is beautiful and has a super chill vibe, even though there was a mix of couples and families. We had our two year old son with us who was made to feel super welcome everywhere by the staff. We had a garden room with a sea view and pool view, which had a beautiful view from our balcony, and the room was great to have a separate space for our son to sleep. The room was exceptionally clean as well. They provided a cot for our son, and the room had fresh beach towels everyday, had flip flops, beach bag, robes, bottled water, and all the toiletries you needed. They really thought of everything. Lamai is great too. Just enough restaurants, nightlife, and a night market, but also the hotel is far enough away from everything to properly relax and unwind. We would definitely stay here again if in Koh Samui and hope they open other hotels elsewhere so we can stay with them again. Highly recommended!

Lovely, quite and beautiful place in Koh Samui. The beaches around there are one of the most beautiful I have seen. I could find cheap and really good restaurants easily and is not far from the touristic attractions. Only about 6, 7km.
Chaweng is the larger, busier, and livelier beach on Koh Samui. Seems there something always going on. There was a festival one night and some other event on the beach the following night, and then just what seemed the weekend crowd. I'm a solo traveler so this was perfect to meet other people and do things. It's a little loud but got lucky with the quiet hotel on the beach.
The Sea Koh Samui Boutique Resort & Residences. The room is dirty, They not clean all bed in the room before the new guess check in. When I see the bed before lay down, I can smell the bed and blanket is very bad smell and have some hair and yellow color some point on the bed!
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Koh Samui, this is the place. Beautiful beach, mainly secluded. If you drive into the main road, it feels more like Koh Samui from20 years ago. A lot of local food stands, super cheap.
Lovely area with lots of restaurants and excursions. Great access to Koh Tao and Koh Phangan islands as well as Koh Samui airport. Fisherman's village night market on a Friday for shopping is amazing! Well worth a visit.
Great beach, I'm sure Baan Thai is best beach is Koh Samui island. You can seem there entire year, also you will find there any infrastructure. But another hand a bit far a way from big shop, like 20 minutes in a taxi

A busy and beautiful long strip of beach with loads of hotels and bars and restaurants as well. A great location for a first timer in Koh Samui in my opinion. You can find all sorts of bars, pubs, night markets, massage shops and great hotels.
We travelled by fast boat to Koh Samui. Very smooth operation with taxi, boat transfers. Quite a few bars and bistros and wine bars with good wine.although a bit expensive. 7 eleven also sells a Jacob creek wine .
It was truly a wonderful stay - Koh Samui is a splendid place, and the Queen Boutique Hotel is a perfect choice to explore this paradise island. We will never forget this experience. The location of the hotel is superb, very close to an amazing beach and plenty of great restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We truly loved the atmosphere of this place and we are very greatful for the hotel's staff for friendliness, support, advice and, last but not least, delicious fresh coconuts that we have received as an unexpected gifts.
The location was perfect, with direct access to the beach. Hotel was quiet due to the time of year, which was perfect to relax. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Peter, who works in bar/restaurant. We initially booked in for 4 days and ended up staying for 12 days. Paddleboard kayak and bike free to use by the guests, which is a nice touch. Would hopefully like to return and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting koh samui. Missing sitting on that beach with those views and sunsets already.
It's right on the beach which is amazing. If you just want to chill by the water then this is the place for you. The pool was also really great. I wrote a lot of notes below but being on the beach really was the highlight and outweighed the things below. Just know that it's the beach front that you are paying for. We've stayed in nicer cheaper hotels in Thailand. But the location is the main draw here. Also, it was a REALLY quiet hotel for Koh Samui. We heard almost no noise and slept really well here!
Lamai
We have been to Koh Samui several times for extended periods and this was the second time we stayed at Am Samui. We like this place but find the price a bit stiff. There was a promotion on booking and we jumped on it! So we had a room with balcony overlooking the pool. The room is modern, nicely decorated and has a good size. There are 2 very nice and big pools. Excellent location right in the heart of Lamai. Breakfast is excellent and offer good choices. Professional staff who pays attention to details
Chaweng Noi Beach
This hotel has been our favourite stay so far while in Thailand. The hotel itself is so beautiful and the staff is so lovely. Our room was so beautiful that I will be taking this design as an inspiration when building my house. The swimming pool, breakfast and dinner were lovely! I definitely recommend you to rent a scooter while in Koh Samui as taxi prices are ridiculously expensive. Luckily there is a scooter rental place just 2 minute walk from the hotel
Lamai
The hive was a relaxing respite from the chaos that mainland Thailand and Koh Samui can be. We were a younger group but still found the Lamai nightlife to be fun and exciting (a short trip to chaweng if you need more stimulation) the Hive was close enough for it to all be accessible but far enough to not even notice it if you needed some TLC. The staff were friendly and accomodating, beach was at our doors and the breakfast was great every morning.

This is a real gem in Koh Samui! Beautiful rooms and green alleys that you walk directly onto, excellently maintained and comfortable, incredibly clean. The restaurant overlooks the beach and the sun rising over the sea in the morning is fantastic! Excellent cuisine, delicious and varied - Western and local. The pool was also by the beach and the pleasure was incredible. I highly recommend this gem, it is one of the best hotels in Koh Samui.
Mae Nam
I felt so comfortable here. Beach is so near, just a few minutes by walk. Mae Nam is so quiet part of Koh Samui. I was happy there. Hotel is cosy,garden around is beautiful, flowers are fragrant, a pool is colorful at night. I had everything what I need. I ate somewhere arount, not in the hotel. Around is a lot of massages, restaurants, shops, there is a temple near. I hope I am going to come back one day. Thank you, love from the Czech republic.

The property is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. I’ve already booked my next stay. This is now my preferred place to stay on Koh Samui. One evening I returned to the hotel at around 8:30 PM to find that the air conditioner wasn’t working. I sent them a message through Booking and they responded within a few minutes, and the owner arrived less than 15 minutes later to resolve the issue.
The stay at Erawan Villa Hotel was a real pleasure. The wooden rooms and little houses have a very cozy feeling, the host and staff is super friendly and helpful, and the direct view and access to the beautiful sandy and clean beach is just amazing!! For everyone who is looking for a special and exclusive stay with traditional Thai atmosphere in a circle of only a few guests will feel overwhelmed by this peaceful romantic stay in Koh Samui.
Beautiful property, great location, and wonderful helpful and kind staff… also the food at the restaurant was SO delicious!! Actually some of the best food we had in Koh Samui. The hotel is situated in Lamai, a great spot to see main attractions in south of KS. Overall we LOVED our room - it was a pool ocean view villa and was simply spectacular! I want to write a bad review because it’s a chain moving in on Koh Samui but I can’t. It was like a Travelodge or Premiere Inn in Thailand only with amazingly friendly staff, some nice but seemingly quite busy pools, a beachfront, not up to Lamai standard but certainly better than anything in England. For the money it served a stopover purpose. The staff were humble, polite, courteous, friendly, real attention to detail. 100%
Bangrak Beach
This is a great "airport hotel" just a 3 minute raxi drive from the Koh Samui airport. We had an early flight and stayed at this Hometel. The people were wonderful, a family business and everyone was so nice. There is a little "street food" stand in front of the place and the food was some of the best we had in Thailand!!! There is not much to do in the area so I would moslty recommend as Airport Hotel.

This was by far our best accommodation in our 6 weeks vacation in Thailand. Every detail in our room and pool area is thought-out, it was super clean and the air con was very silent. The view from the pool area is amazing! The host cares about everything and we were welcome to ask anything. She organized us taxis and even cared for us when we didn’t feel good. When in Koh Samui we will definitely come back!
everything was fine. but i think u ppl should start the breakfast option with the rooms too this place is amazing everyone will buy the room with the breakfast option please do it as early as possible please be in touch. i will recommed this place whom so ever comes to koh samui my daughter loved the place. she still says " papa lets go back to koh samui - ark bar beach resort"

I refuse to stay anywhere else on Koh Samui !!!! These people are like family to me ……This is the most bang for your buck that you’ll receive on the island in my opinion……the beach is beautiful the rooms are exactly what Thailand is about……..and you rarely her voices ……just nature !!!!!! I love it here !!!!!! Book it immediately…….take it from someone who has stayed all over the island …….
Our hosts were lovely & welcoming! Gave us lots of recommendations & helped us to organise a taxi. The cats around the property were adorable! 10 minute walk to the night market was perfect for our 1 night stay. Room was beautifully furnished, clean and the AC was the best we have had in Thailand so far! Would definitely come back for a couple of days when visiting Koh Samui again.

I had a Dream Stay at Baan Yaimai Butique Hotel in Koh Samui. It was a pleasant surprise to feel like a home as soon as I walked into the hotel. Common Living area with kitchen cooking facilities, Sea Water Swimming pool and the lush garden was the highlights of this beautiful hotel. I will for sure go back and stay at this hotel in the future.
Lipa Noi
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The most comfortable mattress in Thailand so far! The owners were wonderful, very accommodating and recommended local restaurants and tours. Only there for two nights but a great way to finish our time in Koh Samui. There was a small kitchen which would be great for someone wanting to stay a longer.
Locations was perfect and the place had the best host we’ve ever had in Thailand. She let us check-in earlier and check-out later than we were supposed, she ordered us taxi to pier/airport, gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Would definitely stay at Dreamcatcher again on our Koh Samui next visit!
