To our delight, we received from the owner a large jar of honey, made by himself, which was produced from the flowers in the areas surrounding the house. The drive to the house requires driving on winding roads in the forest, and arriving at night can be a bit challenging.

The small cabin is also impressively stocked. We did a bit of cooking and had access to every kitchen tool we could want. My wife and I were very comfortable and will certainly be staying there again!

They gave us excellent recommendation for trips, hiking tours or a convivial wine tasting down the valley with local wine grapes. The location up the hill at Col at about 600m was a great starting point for hiking tours (starting directly at the hostel) and to discover the whole Karst region. During summer the height difference to the valley offers comfortable temperatures during night and day. The breakfast was a good, abundant start in the day. We further strongly recommend the dinner in the restaurant at a very reasonable price. Milos and his son are passionate cookers and are seeking to serve traditional and regional food from Slovenia. We will definitely come back again!

The hosts are extremely kind and helpful, they did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We actually extended our stay for some extra nights, because we liked it so much.
