The property was very clean and the caretaker (Mr. Sajjad) was very helpful. The property is about 200 meters away from the sand dunes. The views from the property during the morning and night are equally spectacular. There is a road for cars that are NOT 4x4 to reach the property as well. However, it’s best to contact the owner for guidance. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The surroundings are clean. The owner was very friendly and polite. We loved our stay!

A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. WE SPENT AN AMAZING NIGHT IN AL SALAM DESERT CAMP ! GREAT LOCATION, ALL MEMBER STAFF VERY ATTENTING AND PROFESSIONAL. BOTH DUNE BASHING/SUNRISE AND NIGHT SAFARI/STARWATCHING TOURS WERE AMAZING AND HIGLY RECOMMENDED ! OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC !

Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. All units have a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. The location was amazing. It’s only 2 hours away from Muscat. I would recommend rent a car to the meeting point Ibrahim or his brother will meet you at a location 15 mins away you CAN NOT access with out proper off roading vehicle. It was i thin 5-10 Oman dollar. The high way from muscat to Bidday was extremely easy to drove to.

Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Rashid is an amazing host and so kind hearted. The location is very isolated from the other camps and right behind the last dunes for an amazing view into the desert. Food was very good and plenty available. We also did the camel training camp visit which was very interesting with Rashid‘s explanation. Dune bashing with sunset was also very entertaining.
