Unique experience all around & all together-being one with nature-the design of the glass cabin. Perfect temperature, layout, design, bedding. WE LOVED IT! No Kiwi SEEN by the cabin area but a walk down the main road resulted in a sighting! The STARS above you & it’s no dream.

Chris and Deanne are a great team. We enjoyed our conversations with them and their hospitality. We both liked the option to pick your breakfast time and select what you wanted from the menu. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Everything! The rooms, the staff, the location, the cleanliness. It was just great.

Con vista panoramica sul Mar di Tasman, il Bay Motel si affaccia su Halfmoon Bay, sull'isola Stewart. Lovely owners, really enjoyed our brief stay at The Bay Motel. We did not manage to contact the property for a pick up but somehow they showed up with transport at the pier seems like they do for all customers. It was a cold day and the heater was already on when we got there. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Will be back on my next visit to Stewart Island.
