Catlins Retreat B & B is situated in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. The guesthouse felt so homely. 😁 The decor was unique and it was like stepping back in time! Gorgeous delph and we loved sipping tea in the bay window! The bed was so comfortable. We only wished we could of stayed longer. Gill was so lovely and flexible with check in 🙂

Featuring garden views, Kaka Point Views Apartment 2 provides accommodation with a garden, around less than 1 km from Port Molyneux Beach. A wonderful view to the water. Very comfortable bed. kitchen facilities were all one needs for a short stay

Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. Lawfield BnB was a lovely cozy hideaway, with stunning views of the rolling hills, sunrise, sunset and night stars. Though the cabin was secluded and small, it was thoughtfully designed with everything that we needed for a restful and comfortable stay, including hot shower, hairdryer, USB charging pods, a kitchenette, and full length glass doors and balcony for enjoying the views. The place was neat and clean. The hosts Keith and Helen were also warm and friendly. They gave us some excellent recommendations to check out in the area, such as the annual Farmers Market at Kaka Point. Location wise, this was pretty near a few highlights along the Catlins trail, such as Nugget Point and Roaring Bay. This would make a good rest stop along the Catlins trail, or launching base to explore the Catlins. This was one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand. We stayed for only 1 night, and wished we stayed longer. We look forward to returning to Lawfield BnB one day!

Spacious house steps to the ocean. Fantastic beds and bedding. Great shower with plenty of pressure. Completely stocked kitchen. I know it is a cliche, but our best stay in 3 trips to New Zealand!

Jafa's Motels is set in Lawrence and features a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely setting, so close all the town’s amenities, yet so quiet and private. The rooms are very spacious, and it was a delight to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy my evening meal.
