Catlins Retreat B & B is situated in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. The home is warm and welcoming, with many amenities to support a comfortable stay: from extra heaters and blankets to plentiful mugs and dishes for tea or breakfast. The room is also spacious. Finally the host was available and helpful throughout our stay. We could walk to dinner in Owaka, which was an added bonus.

This charming old mansion is set in the countryside a few kilometers from Balclutha town with very accommodating hosts. It has a beautiful garden and is in really peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful relaxing time there. The free breakfast was stunning, including juice, a wide range of cereal choices, home made white bread and home made fruit loaf. A wide choice of spreads included home made apricot jam and marmalade. A high end coffee machine was easy to use and produced lovely coffee. Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. Just a lovely, peaceful place. Host was very kind. Beautiful view and it had everything you needed. Loved the fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely setting, so close all the town’s amenities, yet so quiet and private. The rooms are very spacious, and it was a delight to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy my evening meal.
