The room was perfect. It was large - 2 very nice swivel chairs! The room was much larger than we have been in Norway. Places to unload suitcase which I really appreciated. We did splurge on a view room and it looked to the city and water. So charming. In fact, every time we came into the room we were blown away by the view. The breakfast was very good. It was one of our best stays in Norway!

I loved everything about my stay at Overvoll Farm! From the warm welcome, the delicious dinner (consisting of homemade deer stew), the stimulating conversation with fellow guests, the heated bathroom floors & water pressure in the shower, the cloud like mattress & pillows dressed in soft linen, to the unbelievable breakfast spread with freshly prepared baked goods, eggs of all variety, local jams, cheese, granola, porridge, juice & coffee! Meeting Hege Kristin & her family and sharing a meal with them was a definite highlight of my stay. They also maintain & operate a 9-hole golf course!
swift easy check-in, enjoyed my stay full of relaxation, even though it was so overcast the scenery was practically invisible and the insane levels of overtourism. It is not true that it's short walk access into town, from here to Alesundet at least, took me thirty minutes to go over the hilly, bendy road [borgundsvegen], not even with a bicycle will it be faster. I believed the misinformation in the review section, and almost planned a walk back to have a six o' clock meal. Also, if you are visiting the sunnmøre museum it will be just as far. Better views from there and 98% less tourists!!
Spacious and cosy living room with kitchen. Big kitchen table, all needed kitchen equipment. Sleeping rooms not so big, but fine for the family. Amazing views through the windows. Enjoyed the stay overall!
Wonderful location, comfortable bed and pillows! Rolf is a wonderful host, he offered us much information, and history of Ålesund!
