Great breakfast. Rooms are very spacious and clean. They are bungalow style and far away from main area for complete privacy. Amazing view of volcán Concepción every morning. Great place to stay in Ometepe. I was there for three nights Karlysa and Reina will take good care of you with their smiles, warmth and kindness. Highly recommended.

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. Xalli exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel. Carlos, the owner, was especially wonderful. I stayed there with my 3 young children (including an infant), my husband and my teenage niece. Before we arrived Carlos sent me all the information I needed to plan our stay on the island. Once we arrived, he set up the futon for us instead of just handing us extra pillows and blankets, he found us a playpen for our infant to sleep in, and he ordered delivery for us for dinner as their dining room closes at 12pm (which I knew). Not only did he order us takeout, but he set a table in the dining room with care and asked his staff to clean everything up for us when we were done, so that we did not have to lift a finger. Our stay came with free breakfast, and it was delicious! I highly recommend the oatmeal! I thought it would just be simple and boring, but it was the best oatmeal I've had in my life :) My niece said Xalli would be a perfect place to seclude yourself and write a novel; I agreed.

Great location close to everything we wanted to do in Ometope - great beach just a 20 second walk away, visit el pital and the nearby hostels which was walkable, and a few tiendas and shops nearby. Room was very cool and also had two fans. Good price and nice staff.
